“I loved Backpacker Pizza! I saw an online promotion video for this place and knew I had to check it out. I came on a Wednesday at lunch and it was not too busy. The staff were super friendly and checked in on us a few times while we were eating. The Potato and Prosciutto Pizza was what we had and the fig jam on top was superb! I am definitely going back!“

“First time experience for this local pizza establishment. Tried the namesake style and really enjoyed it! The pizza was thick and just crispy enough on the bottom. Sauce was generously applied and had a nice little kick to it. Toppings were a little sparse but were good - a bit more would be better! Order was ready on time. A very good first experience. The menu is extensive and offers many options not available other places we have been. So we'll be back to try another soon!“

“I'm only giving it 5 stars because Restaurantji won't let me give them 6 ^_^ I first fell in love with this place over their Margherita pizza, which reminds me of my time in Italy. Since then I have also tried and love their burgers and fries--simple ingredients, but they must be high-quality because the end result is exceptional--and their calzones, with the Chicken Bacon Ranch as the best one so far. I've been a customer here since their opening roughly one year ago and have watched their operations improve over time. I look forward to trying their pastas once those get added to the menu!“

We met up with some of my kids friends for birthday pizza and the good food came fairly quickly and the pieces that we received were very delicious and had a very friendly amount of toppings. “Build your own pizza is my kids favorite pic but they pocket pizzas are really good. I get the bacon ranch pocket pizza and it’s my favorite. Italian chop salad is another good choice. “So I on my last order, there was a mistake made. So I called and to make another order with the credit that was given. The store was in Portland at the S.E. 122nd and Holgate location. But the call center was quick to pass the buck. I finally was transferred to the store manager Jason who took care of the problem and and applied the credit no questions asked. “Can by after some shopping and overall it was a good experience. I got a large pizza of the week (pineapple, pepper, ham, and red sauce) with a drink. The pizza was good with the highlight being the crust and their soda selection was good. I especially liked the root beer they were dispensing. The pizza did take a minute but the workers were friendly. The restaurant was clean but a empty at the time I arrived, there was a line on the way out. Overall it was good pizza and the quality justified the price of $40. If you want a good pizza with good quality I would say it’s worth a visit but expect to spend a little more money on it.“

“I called and ordered at 162nd in advance. When I got there, they were sending customers away and saying they didn't have certain things and others said the ebt was down. Yury, Tony and and lady that started with a Y stayed open four myself and AT LEAST four other customers. I LOVE the deep dish they made. They went above and beyond for multiple families that night.“
