“Great service , good prices, large portions, and awesome Mexican food. Definitely recommend this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Mexican food is great gluten free people. Just stick with corn tortillasParking: Just a few spots in front of the store. If there are snow piles it could be difficult getting in and out“
“Was visiting family in Atlanta and they took us to the restaurant for dinner. They have been going there for many years and consider it a reliable place to eat. We were not disappointed as the food is very good and reasonably price. The drinks were inexpensive and tasty and the staff was friendly and attentive.“
“Excelente! Great birria and handmade tortillas. Friendly service and reasonable prices for generous portions. I have recommended El Cuate to friends and family.Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos, tortas can be vegetarian as well. Quesadillas an option for lacto-ovo vegetarians. Beans are good (not sure if they are prepared with lard) and rice is tasty.“
“Fast, delicious street tacos! Located right across from Hood Ruber Supply and Rosauers, this taco truck is super convenient for a fast meal. You can't miss the bright red truck! Tacos come with choice of meat - although no carnitas. The single homemade tortilla is generously filled, then topped with plenty of chopped onion and fresh cilantro. Served with lime wedge and salsa, two make a perfect lunch and just $3 each. They also make burritos, tortas and sopas. Yum!“
“Family ran taco truck stop.Ingredients were well seasoned, warm, and tasted fresh.Affordable pricing.$6 small burrito made me feel really happy.Great for a delivery driver or anyone needing a quick lunch!1030am -5pm monday through Friday!Good thing I found this spot!Parking: 6 spots shared with Country Coffee“
“Food trucks always have the best tacos imho and this is true of Tacos Poncitlan. The tacos are legit! Freshly made corn tortillas - and yes, it matters and you can taste the difference - filled with crispy pork carnitas topped with chopped onion, cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime. Perfection! They have enchiladas, tamales and flautas, too, but I always get the tacos! They are so darn good and I go there specifically to satisfy my taco craving. Maybe next time I'll get tacos to eat there and an enchilada to bring home! Look for the bright red truck! Friendly service, hard working owners, delicious food.“
“They are open more often now and they remodeled!! Always been the BEST tacos in Odell!!! I love all the ladies that work there. Very kind and caring too.Vegetarian options: You can request your dish be made anyway you like it and I guarantee you will be satisfied“
“I was in the area & was starving & found this nice food truck. The staff was very friendly & attentive. I ordered carne asada tacos without onions. Delicious!! Salsa was ok. Definitely will come back for some more tacos & the great service!“
“Great food. Stick to the seafood you just can't go wrong. Shrimp Cocktail is my go to. I won't buy that anywhere else. The chips and salsa... yeah, best in town. The bean dip, can't beat it. Just a great sit down for quality food spot in “
“I've only been here twice so far but I'm sure I'll be a regular there. First visit blew my mind. Second visit so-so. The nacho plate was the best I'd ever had in a restaurant. I usually avoid nacho plates due to lacking substantial toppings but there was plenty to please.“
“As an OTR trucker, I stopped at the Walmart across the street when an ice storm shut down all the roads (01/172023). This place has amazing Mexican food, and they had great service. Highly recommend this restaurant for any truckers out there looking for a delicious meal.To the restaurant: you guys know what you did. Thank you, you're amazing, and the food is delicious.“
“We stopped in for lunch and were delighted by how tasty our food was. We had quesadillas, torta, a burrito, and tacos for our family. Everyone was happy with their order. The tacos Al pastor were especially flavorful--really outstanding. The salsa sides were very good. The service was friendly and fast. My son wanted very few toppings on his torta, and they didn't bat an eye. We would happily come here again.“
“This is legitimately the best Mexican food that we've eaten outside of New Mexico and Southern California. If you're passing through Hood River town and craving tostadas/tacos/enchiladas, please stop looking at all other options and stop here. Their food is freshly made, piping hot and delicious! We had the arroz con Pollos and ceviche tostada and they were both delicious. The ceviche tostada was the perfect balance of salty, acidic and crispy with some fresh avocado goodness. Yum. The arroz con pollo was hearty and satisfying, and the rice was soft, flavorful and delicious.Even their tortilla chips and salsa were amazing. I asked if they sell their salsa, and they do, but, alas, only in to go containers and not mason jars. Next time I'm here, I'm coming with a dozen mason jars of my own ?. The owner was very sweet and even offered to give me one of her own jars to take it with me ❤️.Their flan, btw, is the only thing we could take a photo of as our hangriness had faded by dessert time. The custard was nicely set, the caramelization was right, it was just the right amount of sweet and syrupy and is likely the best flan I had ever eaten. To summarize, the food was amazing, very reasonably priced, the service was top notch and the ambience was lovely as well. Don't bother thinking about the other 5 (6?) Mexican restaurants in the vicinity, this is THE place to go.“
“This place is a gem.It is a Mexican restaurant that serves both Mexican food and Japanese food And if you order right you can also get Italian food!On the menu it lists noodles… I thought they would be Japanese noodles because I got it with the teriyaki chicken… But to my surprise it is straight up spaghetti noodles. Absolutely amazing if you wanna good laugh… And if you want spaghetti noodles.“
“Salsa was amazing. Flautas were the best I have had in Hood River so far.The inside is not remodeled, very aged, but we did not mind. It gave a "hole in the wall" vibe. The waiter was an older, friendly gentleman.I would go back again.“
“You can't go wrong with a couple beer battered fish tacos, they give you big pieces of fish and they are delicious. Was feeling like trying something different so I asked about the Morena, was described as a sort of mexican pizza and that's definitely a good description. Let me tell you the Morena is amazing! It's cheesy and savory, exactly what I was craving!“
