“Coming here was so much fun! Dave from The Place in Portland spoke highly of checking out one of the tasting room days and did not exaggerate. The tasting room and grounds are beautiful with lots of parking. It was fun getting to learn more about the cidery from the owners. Everyone who was there was really into cider which was super cool! I don't run into that very much. All of their cider was super tasty. I especially enjoyed tasting their new series of ciders. The food they had was super tasty was well. Everything provided was the perfect pairing for their delicious cider. Make sure to keep an eye out for when they're open. Coming here is definitely not to be missed!”
“We enjoyed this place good wine with extras. They have blankets to sit in the grass if you don't want a table along with sun screen to use wile hanging out. they also have you pick cherries that is super fun”
“House roasted coffees. Tasty coffees; okay breakfast items and pastries.Small and intimate coffee shop conveniently located.Attentive to children. Poco is a handsome lab with impeccable manors.”
“This is a nice small town restaurant that offers great food, nice service, and a fun environment.Mosier Company (or Mo Co as they have seemingly nicknamed themselves) is a great stop if you’re in the area or driving through.I tried their tater tots, pretzel, and pizza while there. The pretzel was great! The pizza was good. And the tots were just fine. I didn’t have any complaints and I’m sure I’ll be back. The service was a standout! My mom - who appears to be a regular - is on a first name basis with the staff and they all treated us very well. The food was quick enough and it came out with a smile. The ambiance is one of Mo CO’s biggest positives. When it isn’t 40 degrees outside they have a very nice patio area that usually has a fire going. Inside they have a stylish bar and plenty of family seating as well. They even have some merchandise to look over while you wait for a table!Overall Mo Co is a great spot to stop at if you’re rolling down 84 in either direction.”
“An excellent, all-vegan cafe. Easy on/off I-84. Really nice interior. Fast, friendly service. Tasty, fresh sandwiches and house-made chips. Gluten free bread options too. Nothing to fault; definitely check it out if you're passing through Hood River in the morning/early-afternoon. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-18”
“One of my favorite stops in White Salmon. Great friendly service, excellent selection of delicious wines and very tasty bites. Would be my regular if I lived here.”
“The food was top notch and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful in providing recommendations. We came without a reservation and were sat at the bar within twenty minutes or so but I’d recommend getting a reservation in advance.”
“So delicious! I really want to have this restaurant where I live. The pasta with pistachio pesto was the best! It's the best food I've encountered in Portland.”
“I would go as far to say, this is the best bbq spot in the gorge. They nail it every single time, and everything is just delicious. I send my SO early to get in line and bring home a tray for us to share! We love bbq and in the past have gone out of town for it, now we don’t have to travel far. Must try!”
“You can't go wrong with a couple beer battered fish tacos, they give you big pieces of fish and they are delicious. Was feeling like trying something different so I asked about the Morena, was described as a sort of mexican pizza and that's definitely a good description. Let me tell you the Morena is amazing! It's cheesy and savory, exactly what I was craving!”
“This place is great! Thai and Japanese fusion dishes with well developed flavor, and springy, chewy noodles. I love that if you order your food "hot," it's actually spicy. It's super nice to have a good option open after 8pm, too. We've tried several of their dishes over the years. The duck ramen, khao soy, and mazemen are our favorites. The chili wontons and karaage are consistently good. The takoyaki can be a little light on octopus but heavy on toppings and prepared well.Vegetarian options: Several veggie or vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten-free rice noodle options available for most dishesParking: Small parking lot and street parking. Can be difficult on crowded days.”
“I have never before seen a place that strikes such a great balance: creating a family-friendly environment full of three-year-olds while retaining its appeals to adults without their families. Love this spot both when with family or out with friends.”
“You usually don’t go into a brewery in an emotional crying state. We were on vacation Saturday and shortly before entering Pfriem I got some hard news to take in about my family. It was a lot to process and I decided I just needed to push on with the evening and try to process it later. Zach picked up on my emotions immediately, hard not to, but he treated my husband and I with so much empathy, and love honestly. He assisted us that evening, and really treated us with compassion. It was so touching to be cared for in the situation I was in and the place I was. Obviously incredible beer, but Zach is who I would hope would be our server in good times and bad. Thank you for your support during this difficult time. ❤️”
“I always try to stop by Love and Hominy when I'm in Hood River. The tacos are really fun fusion flavors with great veg options. We had some fantastic NA drinks this time, even served with a frosty boot mug! I didn't get a picture of the tacos because we inhaled them. Yum!The staff here is always so nice! Seriously, the best service.Vegetarian options: All tacos can be made vegetarian by choosing tempeh or tofu as the protein.Dietary restrictions: Most tacos can be made vegan.”
“My husband and I would give them 10 stars if we could. Clam Chowder- AMAZING!! Taco and BBQ chicken pizza's also AMAZING!! SERVICE NEXT LEVEL.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Great food every time we come here. The service is top notch. We Love this place and the owners are very friendly and give you a sense of family while enjoying your meal. If you are in the area you half to stop in and enjoy a fantastic meal here.”
“One of the best steaks I’ve had in years! We’re so lucky to have this place in Hood River. Our server Kate went above and beyond for us! Absolute meat factory.”
“We stopped at this vineyard on a tour from Portland to mt.hood and it was easily one of our favorites! Their lunch options were so good… charcuterie boards and different sandwiches. They had great views and alpacas in the field in the back! They accomadated our larger tour group so we could all sit together and chat which o thought was a very nice touch rather than us spreading out in our smaller groups.”
“On a whim, I made reservations to enjoy Votum's tasting menu to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were really blown away by the level of service, the attention to detail, and the clear passion they have for fine dining and food artistry. It's definitely a special occasion kind of place, but they REALLY did make the occasion feel special - complete with customized printed menus, delicious and creative food, and Michelin star-level service and presentation. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces! Thank you for a lovely evening. We'd gladly come back for another special occasion in the future.”
“Oh my goodness, so glad we discovered Bette's! We're on a 12 hour road trip from Portland to SLC and needed breakfast on our way out. We called ahead and ordered the Salmon Bagel, Huevos Rancheros, and Huevos con Tortillas for take out on the drive. Everything was fresh and delicious! My 8yo daughter says this is the best Huevos Rancheros and side of fruit she's had in her life and insisted I leave a review. :) We're all feeling great and ready to take on the rest of this road trip. Might have to make this our regular stop for breakfast on this these trips in the future.”
“I've been to the Society Hotel twice now and really enjoy it. The room is decent (shared bathrooms) and the spa are is fantastic. I've been back just for the spa/sauna/ cold plunge! Most of the staff are very friendly and they make great coffee and snacks. Bring ear plugs because the train is loud and frequent.”
“Great service , good prices, large portions, and awesome Mexican food. Definitely recommend this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Mexican food is great gluten free people. Just stick with corn tortillasParking: Just a few spots in front of the store. If there are snow piles it could be difficult getting in and out”
“Full Sail is my favorite brew pub in Hood River. They have fantastic beer and fantastic food. My favorite beer is the Cervesa, a Mexican lager served with a lime. This place also has my favorite version of fried pickles, served with a chipotle mayo. We also ate the Salmon Fish and Chips, where the fish was cooked perfectly. The restaurant can get really busy, especially on the weekends. I recommend getting on the Yelp waitlist. Or you can go inside to get on the waitlist and depending on the wait, spend some time exploring downtown Hood River. Can’t wait to come back!Parking: There is a paid parking lot across the street, but during certain times and days it’s free. There is also street parking.”
“What a wonderful surprise to find such a wonderful place in Hood River. The space is comfortable and first class! Danielle is knowledgeable and provides an education in wines of the world while being engaging and so welcoming! We loved the wines, the special glasses and the inimitable owner and hostess. Excellent selection and oh so delicious!Five stars and two thumbs up. We will be back!”
“Mellow vibes and good wine. We ended up taking home two bottles. The small charcuterie plate was a great pairing with the wine. Staff was very knowledgeable of the wines, vineyards, and area. We were also lucky enough to enjoy live music on a Thursday afternoon.”
“Arguably the best cup of coffee in town. Ground was the coffee shop I tried when I first visited Hood River many years ago. Nothing has changed in all that time. Great spot and staff. Lots of room too.”
“The service was actually really good except the Taco lunch needs to come in a box for takeout instead of a bag. I ended up with quite a liquid mess on my hands and my jeans.”
“What an interesting venue! People were enjoying the patio outside and children were playing board games at the comfortable tables downstairs. We found a great cabernet on the sale table. Great flavor and amazing value! Our server was friendly and gave us lots of fun ideas for things to do in the area.”
“Wow! The food was amazing!! Well seasoned and so fresh tasting. I had the chicken burrito bowl and the portions are big so I only ate half. My 6yr old had a chicken taco and he loved it!! We will be coming back!”
“We found this food truck on one of our Idaho to Oregon (and back) travels, now we stop every single time!! Probably the best find EVER!! Amazing tacos, the Sopes are some of the best I’ve ever had, Birria and pastor are my favorites, but it’s all SO GOOD!!! If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would!!”
