“I completely love their fish tacos!!!! But I stopped by yesterday after many months of never eating out to find no one had PPE masks on! Not the prep, not one customer. yes, the customers are outside, but the walk right up to the window & are face to face with prep. People walking very near me, staring- I was being stared at with my mask. I felt like I was in some sort of antimaskers demographic judging me, very uncomfortable. I just have to speak up. My family has been sooo careful trying to ride through this thing; I just think it's sad that one tiny thing could ruin our lives. Something as simple as craving Manny's tacos!!! It's easy, mask up folks.”

“I would go as far to say, this is the best bbq spot in the gorge. They nail it every single time, and everything is just delicious. “You can't go wrong with a couple beer battered fish tacos, they give you big pieces of fish and they are delicious. Was feeling like trying something different so I asked about the Morena, was described as a sort of mexican pizza and that's definitely a good description. Let me tell you the Morena is amazing! It's cheesy and savory, exactly what I was craving!”

“This place is great! Thai and Japanese fusion dishes with well developed flavor, and springy, chewy noodles. I love that if you order your food "hot," it's actually spicy. It's super nice to have a good option open after 8pm, too.We've tried several of their dishes over the years. The duck ramen, khao soy, and mazemen are our favorites. The chili wontons and karaage are consistently good. The takoyaki can be a little light on octopus but heavy on toppings and prepared well.Vegetarian options: Several veggie or vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten-free rice noodle options available for most dishesParking: Small parking lot and street parking. “You usually don’t go into a brewery in an emotional crying state. We were on vacation Saturday and shortly before entering Pfriem I got some hard news to take in about my family. It was a lot to process and I decided I just needed to push on with the evening and try to process it later. Zach picked up on my emotions immediately, hard not to, but he treated my husband and I with so much empathy, and love honestly. He assisted us that evening, and really treated us with compassion. It was so touching to be cared for in the situation I was in and the place I was. Obviously incredible beer, but Zach is who I would hope would be our server in good times and bad. Thank you for your support during this difficult time. ❤️”

“I always try to stop by Love and Hominy when I'm in Hood River. The tacos are really fun fusion flavors with great veg options. We had some fantastic NA drinks this time, even served with a frosty boot mug! I didn't get a picture of the tacos because we inhaled them. Yum!The staff here is always so nice! “We stopped at this vineyard on a tour from Portland to mt.hood and it was easily one of our favorites! Their lunch options were so good… charcuterie boards and different sandwiches. They had great views and alpacas in the field in the back!They accomadated our larger tour group so we could all sit together and chat which o thought was a very nice touch rather than us spreading out in our smaller groups.”

“On a whim, I made reservations to enjoy Votum's tasting menu to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were really blown away by the level of service, the attention to detail, and the clear passion they have for fine dining and food artistry. It's definitely a special occasion kind of place, but they REALLY did make the occasion feel special - complete with customized printed menus, delicious and creative food, and Michelin star-level service and presentation. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces! Thank you for a lovely evening. We'd gladly come back for another special occasion in the future.”

“I've been to the Society Hotel twice now and really enjoy it. The room is decent (shared bathrooms) and the spa are is fantastic. I've been back just for the spa/sauna/ cold plunge! Most of the staff are very friendly and they make great coffee and snacks. Bring ear plugs because the train is loud and frequent.”

“Oh my goodness, so glad we discovered Bette's! We're on a 12 hour road trip from Portland to SLC and needed breakfast on our way out. We called ahead and ordered the Salmon Bagel, Huevos Rancheros, and Huevos con Tortillas for take out on the drive. Everything was fresh and delicious! My 8yo daughter says this is the best Huevos Rancheros and side of fruit she's had in her life and insisted I leave a review. :) We're all feeling great and ready to take on the rest of this road trip. Might have to make this our regular stop for breakfast on this these trips in the future.”

“What a wonderful surprise to find such a wonderful place in Hood River. The space is comfortable and first class! Danielle is knowledgeable and provides an education in wines of the world while being engaging and so welcoming!We loved the wines, the special glasses and the inimitable owner and hostess. “Full Sail is my favorite brew pub in Hood River. They have fantastic beer and fantastic food. My favorite beer is the Cervesa, a Mexican lager served with a lime.This place also has my favorite version of fried pickles, served with a chipotle mayo. We also ate the Salmon Fish and Chips, where the fish was cooked perfectly.The restaurant can get really busy, especially on the weekends. I recommend getting on the Yelp waitlist. Or you can go inside to get on the waitlist and depending on the wait, spend some time exploring downtown Hood River.Can’t wait to come back!Parking: There is a paid parking lot across the street, but during certain times and days it’s free. There is also street parking.”

“Mellow vibes and good wine. We ended up taking home two bottles. The small charcuterie plate was a great pairing with the wine. Staff was very knowledgeable of the wines, vineyards, and area. We were also lucky enough to enjoy live music on a Thursday afternoon.”

“Arguably the best cup of coffee in town. Ground was the coffee shop I tried when I first visited Hood River many years ago. Nothing has changed in all that time. Great spot and staff. Lots of room too.”
