“Paula knocked our cake out of the park. Our tasting was easy – her cakes were delicious and really blew us away. She was able to execute our exact vision and worked with different ideas we tossed around early on about what we wanted our wedding cake to look like as well as flavor combinations.When it came to the actual cake, she nailed it! It was truly the perfect amount and very little was left which is a true testament to her cakes. Her chocolate was top notch and the marionberry almond cake was perfection – tasted even better on our wedding day than at our tasting. We highly recommend Windflower cakes if you’re getting married in the Hood River area.“

“Original 2 star review:Good food. Poor service. Staff frequently feels snooty.Lost half of our Christmas order. Just the latest of a half dozen such failures over the last five years. Would like to be able to support a local bakery but I think we will just cross the river to Pine Street.Update:The owner called and let us know that she had found the rest of our order AND she offered to bring it to our house so we could have it for Christmas dinner today. We were definitely impressed by her level of care. Wish the employees cared half as much as she did. Updating to a 4. Hope her staff steps up their game.“
“Bran & Ash provided tarts for our wedding in Hood River. They were incredibly easy to work with, very communicative, and able to adjust to what we wanted. The tarts were were delicious and a hit with the guests! Pricing was also very reasonable (wedding desserts being difficult to find for a reasonable price!). I would definitely recommend Bran & Ash to anyone else interested in catering!“
“Nice bakery in town near the Rosauers grocery store. They have a lot of options on the menu. I recommend you ask for the sandwich to be toasted or take it home and toast it, was much better. Make sure you get there early when there's more baked goods available.“
