Cathedral Ridge Winery offers not only exceptional wine but also an unforgettable experience, thanks to the warm hospitality of Susie. Her artistic touch adorns the winery, as she personally paints all the art, creating a unique atmosphere. I even have one of her paintings in my home. What truly sets Susie apart is her genuine kindness and attention to detail; she remembers personal details about guests, like our friend Kayla who was crocheting, and went out of her way to provide her with yarn upon our next visit. Susie's warmth extends beyond her artistry; her deep knowledge of wine enhances the tasting experience, making every visit to Cathedral Ridge Winery truly special.

Staff were kind, and let us take our time picking out wine and enjoying ourselves. On a nice spot overlooking the gorge, will be returning again soon.

I came in with with a group of friends and despite not a having a reservation we immediately seated. Deanna was so lovely and informative. Though we are new wine connoisseurs, she coached us through the tasting menu with grace and poise. She created such a welcoming and enjoyable experience. Will be coming back in future!

Setting is picturesque and staff is friendly and obliging. They have a crazy large wine selection and a delicious charcuterie available on the weekend.

From the moment I walked in as a solo wine taster, I was treated like a rock star. Seriously! Anna, the tasting room specialist who was helping me, was positively superb in her recommendations, helpfulness, and attentiveness. This made my whole experience positively delightful and welcoming. I'm excited to join the wine club and receive the top notch reds that Cathedral Ridge produces thanks to Gina (wine club manager) and Anna. Highly recommend visiting!

We come through Hood River a few times a year to enjoy the beauty of the area and to go wine tasting. Honestly we usually have a few "go-to" wineries that we visit every time. This visit, we decided to try a different winery and made our way over to Cathedral Ridge, not to sure what to expect. I am so happy that we made this decision! Not only was almost every single wine we tasted wonderful, it was our server Deanna which made this a memorable experience! In an area flooded with wineries it so nice to be at a winery where they are actually happy to see you there and serve you. She was very knowledgeable about the wines we tasted and made some great suggestions. She decanted bottles before she served them, and sniffed/tasted to make sure the bottle was good before she poured. I have not had such great customer service at any other winery! Thank you for making this a fun experience! Wines that i am particular fond of here: 2019 Grenache Reserve Cab Sauv (all the cab sauv's!) Reserve Syrah Boardeuxd Head Malbec And don't forget to pick up a chocolate wine sauce!

With Mt Adam's in the background, this was an amazing wine tasting adventure. Very friendly staff will help you pick the best wine flight for you and just enjoy the choices, they are all good. A must stop if you are in the Gorge wine tasting.

Anna and Lynda came and put on a networking event for our organization. They were amazing and were able to herd 50+ cats through a wine tasting. We are so appreciative for their help in making our event a success. Their personalities were 90% and the amazing wine helped too.

Wines okNot very busy but we’re reluctant to sit us. Had better experiences!

They were short handed, which I totally understand, but the staff was not very accommodating. Worst winery experience ever!

Stingy pours. No table service. And $60 “reserve wines” that are only 2-3 years old. We have tasted all over the Hood River region, and, unfortunately, this is our least favorite spot. The massive billboard they have up in downtown Hood River is a good reminder for who this is for: out of towners who know nothing about wine. Go elsewhere.

If you love red wine, and you can't find something to love here, you're simply not trying! Delicious wines served by a friendly and knowledgeable staff! A great afternoon on the Fruit Loop!

We had a great tasting experience with Erica. All of the wines were great. We left with several bold reds and a few whites. We'll be back.

Our host Lori was by far the best host we have had at any winery we have ever been to. She was so kind and knew exactly what our pallets would be inclined to based on what we told her. Just an overall amazing experience. We left with a bottle of Syrah and Cabernet that were lovely. Can't wait to come back.
