Amy with Blossom Baking made the cake for our wedding in Oct. 2024, and we’re so happy with how everything turned out. Amy was so easy to work with and made the whole process a breeze. She absolutely nailed the flowers on our cake (they matched our other florals perfectly). We ended up with three different flavors of cake, after many rounds of cake tasting, and we got lots of compliments from our guests (the pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese mousse was a huge hit). It was such a pleasure to work with Amy, and we’re looking forward to ordering from her again for our anniversary in the following years so we can revisit the (literal and metaphorical) sweet memories from our special day! My husband ordered a birthday cake from CGC…not just any cake…I requested a Black Forest Cake…memories from my childhood. Oh dear me! This triple layered chocolate cake was the best cake I have ever tasted. From the moist cake, tart cherries filled between the layers of cakes, and the lightest melt in your mouth whipped cream frosting! Plus, artfully decorated with chocolate shavings. Amy went above and beyond to accommodate my request. Her creativity to bake a cake that is not on her menu is a great example of her baking knowledge and skills.If her cakes are an indication of her products, can you imagine what her cupcakes, scones, and cookies would taste like? Yum! I will definitely buy all my cakes from Columbia Gorge Chocolates. Oh, we are ordering cupcakes for Christmas dessert! Can’t wait!
