As an individual who lived and worked in New Haven CT, We couldn't pass up the opportunity to try their pizza that is noted on their menu to be New Haven style pizza while we were visiting our daughter in Oregon. The brewery is very big and we we seated immediately as we arrived mid afternoon. Our server, Jeremiah, was quickly at our table asking for our order. We ordered beers to give us time to look at the menu. In order to properly test their pizza against the New Haven style, we ordered the required cheese pie. We also ordered a pepperoni for one individual in our group. We were pleasantly surprised in how close it was to the coveted New Haven style pizza. It was thin crust , it has the proper amount of char underneath, however it was not up to standard on the flop test. It was a little bit too stiff. Otherwise it was really good 😊. I did find it odd though that when we asked who at the restaurant was in New Haven and brought back the pizza style... He said the owner who lives in Ohio??? Not quite sure how that figured in, but we are glad he brought it to Oregon.

Placed an order for pickup since it seemed pretty busy. Figured a 40 minute wait was just fine, especially for wandering around downtown. After walking back over at the estimated time for pick up, were told our order was next. Proceeded to wait another 40 minutes with no updates. FINALLY order was done, and had to grab our own drinks and then wait another additional 10 minutes as servers seemed to forget who we were, though we were the only ones waiting to pick up an order at 8pm. Kind of ridiculous, food was decent but based on wait times and service, wouldn’t go back.

The beer really sub-standard. The bar staff really into their own conversations and ignoring patrons. And the menu relied a bit too much on the legacy of pizza from Connecticut.
The beers are a bit heavy on the flavor, especially the IPAs. But they do have a pretty large selection to choose from. The pizza was pretty good, got a classic pepperoni for the table.

I never ever post about restaurants but I had to this time.
Customer service here stinks. Had family members drive from many miles away (out of state) to celebrate the night before a wedding. It wasn’t a crazy out of hand bachelor party by any stretch of the imagination. It was the brides family having fun the night before so we ordered 5 pizzas and 12 beers and when waitress brought 12 beers to a 13 member party, a joke was made that the bride’s father didn’t need a beer. We thought it was funny since he was paying. It was a joke and that was explained to the server and yet they made us feel like belligerent drunks and we were told they would not serve use any more alcoholic beverages.
It took the joy from the night and made us feel less than…
I recommend going elsewhere so you don’t feel judged or less than.
