The food was great and affordable. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I managed to shatter a water glass and flung water and glass shards everywhere. The waitstaff swooped in to help clean it up and not embarrass me or make a scene. I will definitely come here again

We had been wanting to try this place for awhile, but the food just wasn't very good. We had chicken fried steak and eggs and it really was just awful. It breakfast looked and tasted like it was all microwaved. The gravy was very oily and tasteless. We will be going back to our usual spot for a great breakfast.

Parking Lot was rather small and a little confusing. I got there just before the rush. I did park up the street at a park and walk over to the Restaurant, but food and service were great.
There was nobody there and they seated us outside and never took our order 9/20 at 5:40 pm even after I said the outside seating was very warm. Give me a second babe hold on. Chale pues

OKAY EGG RIVER CAFE, I SEE YOU. This is a MUST stop for breakfast in Hood River - this spot has such good food, very attentive service, and cute diner charm. I had the smoked salmon avocado toast with a poached egg on sour dough…ummm 100000/10. That egg was the perfect poach and the avocado toast was delishhhhhhh. Will absolutely be visiting for breakfast every time I’m in Hood River. (I’d add a photo but I was hungry and ate it all 🤣)
