Parking Lot was rather small and a little confusing. I got there just before the rush. I did park up the street at a park and walk over to the Restaurant, but food and service were great.

OKAY EGG RIVER CAFE, I SEE YOU. This is a MUST stop for breakfast in Hood River - this spot has such good food, very attentive service, and cute diner charm. I had the smoked salmon avocado toast with a poached egg on sour dough…ummm 100000/10. That egg was the perfect poach and the avocado toast was delishhhhhhh. Will absolutely be visiting for breakfast every time I’m in Hood River. (I’d add a photo but I was hungry and ate it all 🤣)

A great, friendly place for informal family dining. Excelent food for a reasonable price with cute chicken-loving atmosphere. On top of all that I have never had better service, and at the end, just before we walked out the door they offered me a free coffee for the road. Where else can you get that?

My wife had the Reuben with fries, I had their cheeseburger with fries. Both sandwiches were good and the fries nicely seasoned. Visited again September 12th. Chicken pot pie was really good, comes with a side and vegetable.

Got seated promptly around 8.30 am on a Sunday. Good selection of breakfast items - got the chicken chilaquiles - they were willing to swap biscuits and gravy for hashbrowns. Portion sizes were generous. Coffee was organic and tasted good. Good service.

It's was a very nice surprise! We were cruising through town on a road trip and swung through to grab a quick bite. Wasn't expecting anything fancy. However, the food was absolutely delicious. It was well put together with quality products. I had the philly sandwich and my husband had the shrimp melt and they were served with garlic fries. I was very pleased with my everything about the place!
