Loud and busy like any good brunch place should be.
It shouldn't take over 10mins for one waffle to come to the table after the rest of the food is on the table.
No one came by to refill coffee the whole 40mins we had cups.
Needs work on service 😞 food was good, nice GF bread.

Amazing service and really delivered on the food. We had a hash, a scramble and a short stack, all excellent. The servers really hussle and are very friendly and polite.

First time since they changed ownership. Went for dinner. They have a number of Mexican specialties now. Got the Barbacoa Pizza and the Arrecherra. Food was wonderful and the portions are very generous. Lots of leftovers. Egg River is not just for breakfast any more.

Visiting the area from out of town. Tried this place out because it was close to where I was staying. The food was delicious but their customer service needs some work. I know it can get busy at times but acknowledge your customers. At least one of the workers stopped by to top off my coffee several times. I don’t think I will be back the next time I come to Hood River. I hope they work on their customer service.

OMG! Get the dirty fries! They were bursting with flavor. New on the menu was a Philly Cheesesteak also very tasty, done perfectly, with great bread.

The Locals Favorite is amazing and plenty of food for two people for $20!

Was recommended by a local as THE breakfast place in town. It lived up to the recommendation. There is a wide range of menu choices, the food was great, the cafe was neat and clean, and the staff was courteous.

Yes, those are the pancakes made with apple pie filling!

Parking: There is an additional parking in the Egg River Cafe parking lot across the street from the cafe. You'll see signs in the lot.

Really nice breakfast, pretty fast. That is unusual for Egg River. It's usually a wait for a table and a much longer wait for the food. Must have hit it on the right time at 10am on Weds. Weekends are insane with tourist . Weekdays are easier especially in winter. The Eggs Benedict was excellent as was the Salmon Benedict. Good coffee too. Sweet country decor, very friendly .
