Wow! The food was amazing!! Well seasoned and so fresh tasting. I had the chicken burrito bowl and the portions are big so I only ate half. My 6yr old had a chicken taco and he loved it!! We will be coming back!

I have recommended El Cuate to friends and family.Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos, tortas can be vegetarian as well. Quesadillas an option for lacto-ovo vegetarians. Beans are good (not sure if they are prepared with lard) and rice is tasty.

The food here is some of the best Mexican food I've eaten in Hood River! The Birria platter is killer! The fish tacos are to die for! The prices are very reasonable. Service is great, too. I just wish that they were open on weekends also.
