Beautiful nursery in Hood River. Made some great purchases here. Also nice to just walk around and see all the flowers, trees and produce as they have a huge selection.

Had exactly what I was hoping for in plants and pots as gifts for a friend. Roomy displays. I could get down the isles without knocking plants off the shelves or hitting them with my head!! Prices are a bit on the spendy side, but quality is good.

Great for Christmas trees

Owner refused to take responsibility for selecting a “tree just like this one”, per our request, that happened to be $40 more expensive than tree we had selected. At time of purchase, we didn’t notice the higher price of tree he selected .We ultimately bought a total of 4 trees and asked him to credit the difference of his mistake. He became defiant and would not admit it was his error in selecting the higher priced tree. This is simply not good business practice, and we are very very disappointed about rude and prideful attitude.

Excessively short warranty of only 3 days. I bought 5 fruit trees within 1 week and was unable to plant them all within the first three days of when I bought them. Approximately 1 week after purchasing, I noticed one of the trees had large quantities of earwigs and ants in the rootball under the surface and the tree was wilting significantly prior to planting. It was watered with about 1.5 gallons of water every day since purchasing (same as other trees). The manager was unwilling to do anything to help resolve the situation, and now I’m stuck trying to save a bug infested tree. All other four trees were watered the same amount, look great and had no bugs. I’m flabbergasted they won’t standby their products for any longer than three days. Organic nursery or not, it’s totally unacceptable to send customers home with bug infested plants and then do nothing about it just because they are a few days over the minuscule warranty period.

Best selections of healthy herbs, fruit trees & veggies. Baby Pepper, Basil and Tomato plants stood strong in a recent downpour with wind and hail; Blueberries are forming on two year old bushes and, our Peach tree is rooting. Helpful staff, assist with loading, seasonals have posted care instructions. Lots of in-store inventory, collection of crafts from local Artists, tiny diner with clean bathrooms.

I have loved this business but things have changed. I usually go there to get a live tree in a pot for Christmas. After the holiday I give it to a friend to plant in their yard. There are 5 trees in Oregon living happily ever after that we're my Christmas tree. I expect to pay more. But this year the prices were ridiculous. I didn't get one. And the service was terrible. Not sure what I'll Do next year but I won't go here. I also go during the year for plants and pots. No more. I won't support price gouging in a small community.
