Wine and liquor is mediocre at best. Staff is rude and impatient. “Sharon” (our server - she said she had to make up a name) was very abrasive and made us feel bad for having a good time with family. Our pizza was mediocre and that’s after we asked them kindly to fix when they forgot ALL the cheese on the pizza. She rolled her eyes and brought it back to the kitchen. Sorry your kitchen made it incorrectly the first time? I shouldn’t be made to feel horrible because I ask for my food to be made correctly. We also ordered a strawberry Margarita to try a “distillery” option. It came as just strawberry purée on ice. I had to add tequila I had in my car (lol) because it tasted like nothing.Would recommend checking out elsewhere if you want decent service and decent food.

Good food and wine. Terrible service. Not a place for large groups and kids. Mixed up 4 different tables of orders (they used table numbers, names, and took credit cards at the beginning) causing to serve gluten allergy table regular pizza. Did not care at all about the mistakes. Caused an extra hour of recreating orders after considerable complaints. Gratuity was included for our 4 person table despite no info on the menu. Executive chef/manager had the same terrible customer service despite our concerns about poisoning our table and other bad service. Really a cute place, the service ruined our day and had to end our trip early because of the allergy attack because of severe negligence. Refused our requests to even take it off the bill. And we paid extra for gluten free.

Avoid if you are celiac or gluten intolerant. The chef will not allow ANY outside food even if you can't eat anything there. In 8 years of being diagnosed as celiac, my wife had never been denied eating her snacks while I dined regardless of the state or city we've visited. She can't really drink without having some food, which is an issue when traveling the fruit loop. And we go out a lot despite her restrictions and both spend and tip well. For a winery/distillery wanting to promote their products, this is a bad policy that will cost them money and goodwill.

Cory was phenomenal for our bridal party wine tasting! A great place for a casual or celebratory party

Lovely winery with live music. We very much enjoyed the cheese platter.

Great find in Hood River. Great atmosphere, food, wine and spirits made from home grown ingredients and the owners were welcoming with stories to a couple from Chicago. Do yourself a favor if you're near Hood River Oregon and get to this place.

We were drawn in by the ‘wood fired pizza’ sign and had high expectations as we were hungry. The topping was great but the base was thin and dry and tasted like it had come out of a packet. The topping sat on the base rather than melded into it. Nice atmosphere and great patio area with tons of shade.

The wine was amazing and the views were incredible! They use fresh products from their own garden to make a delicious pizza. It is definitely one of the best stops on the Fruitloop trail. I highly recommend!

I work at another winery in a different state and am visiting this area to sample local wines. The Hood Crest Winery is some of the best I have enjoyed so far. Very well done Pinot Noir and Mourvèdre! The service was terrific and the food was wonderful, but the eine was a huge hit!

We started out the day yesterday going to Stave and Stone winery, waited almost 20 minutes for them to tell us they weren't taking walk ins. Slightly more than mildly peeved, but we just got in the car and decided to head in a certain direction and see what we hit, which was here.I am so happy that we weren't seated there. I really don't love wine (my husband does) and Hood Crest actually has a spirits menu, also, and had many different types of infused alcohol to try. But I didn't even need it, because whoever the female was that was serving us listened to what I had to say, and suggested a wine that I actually really liked, and brought me a small taste of another one that was amazing, also. I ended up buying a bottle of both, which I don't think I've bought a bottle of wine in over a decade. If you are like my husband and also like wine, they had multiple flights to choose from, including his flight of reds that went really well with our food. It also had a more interesting selection of food. We got a pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. This is definitely going to be our new go to spot in Hood River. It is definitely one of my all time top wineries that we've been to in any state, because their food menu runs beyond charcuterie plates (although nothing wrong with that) and they have a large variety of wines and not wines, which is a treat. There are plenty of inside and outside tables to choose from, and I love that they can open the building up, and we were out of the really hot day, and still were able to feel like we were outside.

We really enjoyed this place on our fruit loop tour. The live music was a treat . we had pizza and wine flights. I did see they had some different vodkas as well guess I will have to come back to them

The salad is elegant with a dressing that won't clash with any of the fine wines. They have 4 different flights so you can try all the wines. Also, there is a distillery and fancy cocktails as well as mock tails. The beautiful vineyard with mountain view's is in close proximity. Family owned by Nashville recording artist Tess Barr, who performs Blues and Country with her musician husband Patrick Barr. Other guest artists include Mo Dixon on Friday night, Alonzo Garbonzo, and Kerry Williams.
