Why pay $20 for a burrito up the road when you can pay $18 for a burrito and a horchata here and sit outside in the cool shade of their café garden eating (excellent) complimentary tortilla chips as you wait on your order.

We showed up on Father’s Day, a big outing Sunday for families, after we struggled to get into two other restaurants with our hungry 2 year old and when we told our waitress that our kid really needed to eat 10 minutes ago they instantly got a plate of rice and beans out to our table with waters and chips so our little one would melt down. That’s the sign of an amazing restaurant and people who understand their customers! Thank you so much for saving part of our vacation when we were stressing out, we are new loyal consumers whenever we pass through town. Also, the sauce on the chili reino was different and really good!

The only reason my overall rating is 4 is due to the busy street. 9 out of 10 times I get take out so the busy street doesn't bother me. If you are looking for authentic food, this place will exceed your expectations. I have never had bad service, supper friendly and seems to be family oriented. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other business in the area. When we want Mexican food this is our go to place.

When I tell you it’s the best, it’s literally the best! Quality, atmosphere, and food, the best! We stumbled across it because the mesquitery bar and grill was so awful. They were super accommodating and kind, and the food really was the best! Can’t recommend more, such lovely people!!!

Food was bland and so overpriced! We are vegetarians and asked if we could sub guac for meat and they said no, it would be an extra $4 for guac ?? My partner is a black man and the service we got compared to the other white families around us was horrible. Would not recommend
I had Al Pastor taco & cheese enchilada Ala carte. Simple and very good. Lunch partner had tostada and refried and enjoyed very much. The enchilada sauce was remarkably good. The service was prompt and friendly. Lovely day for the outdoor seating. My first visit here but I will be returning.

Really good quality food, but I'm beyond dissapointed for how tiny their burritos were. Smallest burritos in all of Hood river.
If you are hungry, get one of the plate dishes. Avoid the burrito. You'll end up disappointed.
