New tasting room. Owner was very informative and provided a wide variety of varietals and vintages. We left with a number of bottles.
Great recovery from awful fire a few years back. Lovely new building, almost finished. Good wine, friendly folk.
Good wine, friendly folk. They are still recovering from a devastating fire a few years back, however the new building is beautiful and they are back in business.
Mmmmmmm! The Pinot Noir is absolutely the best.
They're open again! They have a wide variety of ports which are all really good. The winemaker was very knowledgeable and obviously knows what he's doing! If you're checking out wines in the gorge, stop by here for sure.
Excellent wines, great customer service and a beautiful location. Highly recommend it
I bought 6 of the finest ports I've ever tasted. Always a delight to visit Hood River Vineyards.
LOVE THIS PLACE! On top of my favorite wineries in The Columbia Gorge. The wines are amazing and the atmosphere and Anne are the best! THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!
Can't say anything about the wines, but seriously, three ads per screen page from the Motley Fool? You can't get any tackier than that. Ads on a website are a sure sign that you might get malware on your computer.Doubt I'll visit this place.
great after dinner sipping wines. Loved the place, it is out of the way, no glitsy. But excellent after dinner wines.

5$ to taste all they've got, but they have mostly port so you'll want to watch it to make it up and down the gravel driveway out there. It's a bit of a trek, off the beaten path as compared to the rest of the fruit loop, but worth the drive. Excellent wines all of them.
I found a spectacular Zinfandel from the Hood River winery @ a grocery in Mosier. I went back for another bottle which they had. Same vintage. I can't fully describe how bad it was.I took it to a friend who has aged & bottled his own wines for decades. He said, "I wouldn't use this to cook with"I brought the bottle to H. R. Winery tasting room & told the woman all the above. She didn't agree. Said I could return it to the grocery. If she had been smart she would have offered a replacement. Or at least complementary tasting. Because I have told every friend I know who enjoys good wine this story. And topped it off with this review that is as sour as that wine.
