The staff are very nice and friendly, they try to help you understand their wine and winery well. There are some art you can look while you enjoy the wine. Reasonable price for wine tasty.

During our wedding week, we decided to host our guests at Mt. Hood Winery as a welcome activity and we are SO glad we did. Not only is the winery location absolutely breathtaking with clear views of Mt. Hood but the staff was an absolute pleasure to work with as well.As we had a large party, we booked through e-mail. Linda was the staff member we worked with and she was extremely helpful and flexible. The day of, the staff catered to all of our needs as a large group and were very friendly.A big THANK YOU to Linda and the Mt. Hood Winery team for helping our group have an absolute wonderful day!

Well we hit this on a gorgeous fall day which makes wine tasting even better. The colors, the wine, the people, the setting all perfect! Had a great time with a fabulous atmosphere and very friendly service! The view and the landscape are amazing. It’s on the “Fruit Loop” in Hood River. Lots of parking. Great indoor and outdoor parking and fun places to take pics.

We had a visit at this winery as part of the rail cycle tour. The rail cycle was great fun and the employees were informative and professional. Also The Fruit Company tour was pleasant and have some of the best apples I have ever had. As for the winery - The grounds and facilities are beautiful. There customer service was unfortunately unfriendly and not accommodating. As we entered the winery a woman asked in a gruff voice if we were there to do a tasting and if we were with the cycle tour. Not even a "Hello or Welcome greeting". As it turns out we were informed that we would not be able to do a tasting because of the cycle tour turnaround. We were offered to buy a glass. Interesting note there were only 4 other visitors in the winery - so not sure how it is was that we wouldn't be offered a tasting of 4 wines in a 30 minute window. At any rate we sipped on our glass of wine while this same woman walked around barking orders at the employees and making the view folks inside feel uncomfortable. At the end of this whole experience we walked away and will not make our way back for another visit. I recommend they hire a greeter that will welcome visitors and make them feel at ease to be able to enjoy the wines and view.

Beautiful, fun, relaxing place with a super friendly staff. They were the best part of a very good day in the area! I was only able to stay an hour, but I will be coming back soon to enjoy the wine, vines, and view!

Sorry. no additionalpics. ---We finished a wine flight after sitting in a patch of shade with a wonderful breeze, and the most amazing view. The flight was a great idea as we settled on a couple of bottles of one of the wines. Make sure to stop and enjoy the wine and the view.

Delicious wines!!! Great landscapes to see!!! So peaceful and relaxing. It is a short drive from Hood River but the views on that drive are so worth the time. You can appreciate being away from the world and see the fields of green and the mountain in the background. The building is well lit and very nice inside. Has great artwork from the surrounding artists. Then you get to the wine sampling. I took advantage and sampled all the wines I could. $20 for five samples of whatever wines you choose that are on the list. So I got 10 samples of the house wines. Some were dry reds and some were sweet, but oh the flavors hit the palette and sent waves of great taste to your senses. The wines average $20 and above but so worth the price for great Oregon wines.

Great view. Wine is a little sweeter than we like. Not a guided wine tasting, but a flight that you can read briefly about as you taste. Not busy. Fast service. Tasting is $20 for five 1 oz pours. Glasses of wine between $10 and $14.

Grouchy people, terrible wine. One of the most inhospitable wineries I have tried to visit. Plenty of other beautiful places in Hood River where your time will be better spent. Truly disappointed.

I love this place, as soon as I walked in the door there was a beautiful stunning painting to the right in which these amazing paintings were throughout the lobby and the hallway leading up to the restrooms. When entering the restrooms which are spotless, well the women's restroom, there were black and white portraits of some of the sexiest men in Hollywood!! Love love love it! As I continued my stroll I was greeted by the most friendliest host and hostess. Once we placed our wine tasting selections, our tastings were personally brought to us by Mr. Don who gave us a brief history lesson. Mr. Don took very good care of us as we sat facing the snow cap Mt. Hood. The views from this winery are simply amazing! I can't wait to go back!! It was a very warming and welcoming experience!! Customer service is everything to me. I was very impressed!!

Very nice winery. Large tasting room. Friendly staff. Convenient to the highway.About 12 wines, 6 whites, 6 reds. We tasted the reds. They were fine but not exceptional. Tasting was a bit pricey at $20. Wines priced a bit high for the quality.Setting is nice but relatively flat. Nice view of Mount Hood.Overall we give it 4 stars.

Beautiful views, great whites but so-so reds. But what really irked me was they did a bait and switch on the wine-tasting fee. When we arrive one service staff person explained that tasting were $20/person and would be offset if we were to buy a bottle. There were two of us and she explained that if we bought two bottles then both tasting would be free. When we decided to buy two bottles and checked out a different person (likely a manager or owner or son of the owner) refused and explained only one tasting would be waived. This was one of 5 wineries we visited that weekend and all the others waived a tasting fee for each bottle purchased. So I found it petty on their part to ding us with this bait and switch!

Left me unimpressed. $20 per person tasting fee only waived for one if two bottles purchased. There was zero communication about their wines, where they source their grapes etc. Setting is pretty, wines drinkable although some smoke taint in the mix.

We had a lot of fun trying a variety of wine samples on the back patio with our pup in tow. There were a few groups of people but not overly crowded. The view was beautiful, and it was very relaxing!
