Wonderful owners, with a lovely story about taking on their new shop endeavor. No longer serving natural, organic, or biodynamic farmed wines. Nevertheless, it is a MUST to visit for the wonderful photography on the walls, grabbing a delicious charcuterie board, and getting to meet the lovely, queer friendly duo that owns the wine shop. Shame on the City of Hood River for making them take down their pride flag.
We had been out in the Columbia George site seeing and found George On Wines on Ooen Table. See booked a table and WOW!!!! What a find! First, the tasting room is tucked down a ramp on the street! If you see a railing, look for the ramp....follow it down and you enter the tasting room. The ambiance is casual and relaxed. Art adorns the walls, lots of seating choices and dog friendly inside! The wine is local or imported...I tasted a white flight and my husband did reds. We also got the cheese pairing with it! An absolute must do! This winery used to be owned by someone else and the two (female) owners are amazing! Come give it a try!

Visited the Blaine and Bethany Photo Gallery and was recommended to sample Mylan Wines located in the gallery. Benjamin was very knowledgeable and I appreciate the range of wines he has created. I highly recommend a visit!
If you’re looking for incredible wine, a one of a kind experience, and the most gracious and energetic host then Mylan is your place. Living in the Gorge I have access to some incredible wineries and hands down Mylan is my top recommendation.
