The smoked salmon sliders are very delicious! A nice light lunch with a glass of their moscato was just perfect. The sliders had a spice to them & the moscato was not too sweet. The lounge and dining space are serene, beautifully decorated with timeless art and music, and offer wonderful views of nature and the river. I would recommend lunch here!

Great food! The minestrone soup and clam chowder were amazing! The rest of the dinner was very good as well. Cozy atmosphere, nice staff and best of all, the stunning view! Its very quiet compared to our goto restaurants in Portland but we dont mind while enjoying the delicious meal at a good price!

Ok not really sure why only 3 stars for this place. But, I have to say this was a great experience for my wife, sister, and her son. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything. Personally I had a simple salad with pomegranate, raspberry vinaigrette with grilled chicken that was exceptionally tasty and we all shared a desert that was just perfect!

I was hesitant to come here at first from bad reviews, but I really love the aesthetic of the hotel and wanted to come see it myself. We did dine in at Simon cliff room, And we enjoyed the views , the food, and service. I would recommend this place. Its so peaceful, beautiful like we are in Lake Como Italy.

Not much of a review person but had to set the record straight on the nonsense 3.7 rating I'm seeing.Food was straight up great. Had the andouille mushroom ravioli and my wife had the seafood pasta. Both plates were delicious and what you'd be expecting from a high end restaurant. Also ordered the kafta(?) Which is some pita bread hamburger type Turkish dish which tasted like kinda like tacos and was amazing. Stayed here on a holiday getaway special and also got a free bottle of wine with our 2 entree dinner which turned out to be a $70 bottle of wine which was an awesome surprise. Also the hotel is really old, classy, and unique. Worth the visit alone even if you're not staying here. just checkout the pic from our room.

i called two weeks ahead for my reservation. I called one day ahead to make sure my reservation was secure. As I entered the restaurant to see if there was earlier availability the hostess acted as if my reservation was not on the books. I reserved again and as I arrived at the specified time again confusion. The host asked if I wanted fine dining and I was not sure what he meant and he asked again. I replied, " I guess so. When we went to that area and looked at the menu the amount of food was too large so we moved to the regular restaurant. The host was rude and condescending and the menu left something to be desired. It was all over the place as far as choices and none of them very appealing. How do you have a vegetarian pulled pork sandwich? I would never go again and would never recommend. Four years ago I would have highly recommended. It has gone downhill.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the hotel in 2012 and we’ve stayed at the hotel and ate at this restaurant ever year ever since. But 2023 will be our last year here. The menu used to be high class with steelhead, high end steaks and other seafood dishes. Now, it consists of an overpriced burger, tough cheap sirloin steak that’s inedible, and fish and chips that’s mostly made of soggy batter and hardly any fish. The food tastes terrible, is cheap, and it’s way overpriced. It’s almost laughable for a hotel of this class. Very few people dine in this restaurant anymore and now we know why. What a shame.

Beautiful location, great service and tasty food. I've dined here for lunch before and was fortunate enough to get the same great server today, a server named Michal. She was attentive and quick to accommodate our needs. We were a party of 5, so she had to be on her toes - we had lots of special requests. The restaurant was able to put together a large table for us due to our special needs.

Beautiful location, great service and tasty food. I've lunched here many times and was fortunate enough to get the same great server for Brunch, a lovely woman named Michal. She was attentive and quick to get us whatever we asked for. We were a party of 5. so there were a variety of requests. The restaurant went out of their way to accommodate us with a large table due to our special needs.

Atmosphere was nice. Clean and tidy. Generally geared towards an older crowd. The non alcoholic cocktails were very good. The food was very bad. I ordered the sirloin steak with mushroom sauce and it arrived smelling extremely unusual. The sauce appeared to be very cheap and possibly canned. The steak was difficult to cut and appeared old. We ordered it at medium rare but it tasted and smelled rubbery and appeared it had been frozen and defrosted several times. I asked to return the steak. My wife ordered the burger and the burger was 3/10 at best. The burger had a gamy-ness that was not what I assumed to be from fresh beef. Bread was doughy and stale. Vegetables had no flavor.Server was apologetic and understanding but staff appeared under staffed.Overall I would have preferred in n out. Sadly.

We were very disappointed with our brunch. The menu was all salamon or tuna dishes leaving either an Indian taco or steak and eggs. My husband got the steak and eggs which was covered with a thick sauce which was not mentioned on the menu. My eggs Benedict was ok. Eggs over done and hardly any hollandaise sauce. I had to ask for more. Potatoes were undercooked. The cheese, fruit and pastry tray was nice but the dessert tray was disappointing.

The restaurant was short staffed and the one waiter was taking orders without writing them down. She messed up 3 of the 5 orders. The food took over an hour and it was cold when we got it. The vegetarian dish was a joke. It was one slice of toast soaked in olive oil with a few peppers and slices of onions for $15. It was a very poor experience. Highly recommend going anywhere else! The ambiance was ok.

Amazing food. Service was lacking but they were understaffed. It is more of a fine dining restaurant, which is known to take more time. We still had a nice time.
