Stopped by back in Summer of 2018. This visit was an upgrade from my past visit. They offer a wonderful selection of charcuterie and food options to enjoy with wine. The view and decor is beautiful. Parking was convenient. We have a Tesla and were able to use their charger while we visited. Since it was winter, there was snow everywhere and the place was warm and cozy. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We did not have a reservation and they were able to seat us right away since we arrived at opening time. I would recommend reservations during peak times of year. Restrooms were clean and roomy compared to other wineries where you have to wait to use the restroom. Overall it was a wonderful experience and a gorgeous winery. I will definitely return again when I get back to the Hood River area.

Had an incredible time in the Stave and Stone tasting room! We wandered in without a reservation and they kindly and warmly accommodated us. We went with the Legacy tasting which included 6 wines (3 white, 3 red) with food pairings. The food was really good and paired perfectly, making the wine taste even better to us novices. We loved every one and left with a new-to-us bottle of Pinot Noir Blanc. Will be back on a sunny clear day so we might be able to see Mt. Hood from the patio!

Great winery located deep in the hood river area, while you drive past many others on the way, I enjoyed coming to Stave & Stone. Great food options, wine sampling, and Lavender Fields to walk around in next door. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the wine tastings, we got a few more than planned due to it being affordable! Great wine! Also, you can grab bottles to go if you love your samples!

Love the option to select from multiple flights or have a glass. The views are incredible from inside and outside on the patio or lawn.

The vineyard was beautiful, the wine awesome. A must get is the spinach dip, I don’t know what they put in there, but 10/10! The charcuterie board with the fig jam over cheese (I forgot what kind, maybe goat) amd baked brie was a crowd pleaser. Service was very slow, super slow. They were short staffed and we waited a long time, to the point that we thought they forgot about us. Would we go back? Yes because the wine and food made up for the lacking service.

The people here were really nice and provided great service. We enjoyed the basic wine flights. The view is fantastic, but unfortunately, it's facing the opposite direction of Mount Hood. We didn't have a reservation, but we got in right away. I don't think that's typical, though, so I would recommend making one. The price were okay... maybe a little high.

I booked this tasting for our group of six because you had a choice of red, white or combo flights, we liked their charcuterie platter options and of course - their beautiful setting and views! After being served we realized it's a self-guided tasting with very little effort - our server brought our flights & food and that was it. They also combined two of our white flights into one shared pour that two people had to split which I thought was tacky and honestly I don't think they got a full tasting of each wine. Heads up you have to spend $60 in order to get the tasting fee waived and a bottle of wine starts at $30 for white and $45 for red - after a lackluster tasting experience, we did not take them up on that offer. I would say the "tasting" does not sell the wine or the winery very well. The baked brie platter was fantastic but we were given no plates or utensils, only napkins. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio with the view of Mount Adams. We also enjoyed playing cornhole and visiting the lavender farm after.

Two star review today. Only due to service/staff. Reservation for two made weeks ago at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon. Arrived 5 minutes late. We were met by the hostess who checked us in and immediately informed us that we would need to vacate by 2:30 due to other reservations. No problem. However, zero greeting or "welcome" to our beautiful tasting room. Wow. We give two Fs about winery table times as we are usually out in an hour. We were lead to a two top on the patio in the very back row. A fire pit in front of us which is not needed on an 80 degree July afternoon. We asked to be moved to one of the many open tables in the front row with a clear view of the grounds and Mt Adams. Our hostess informed us this was not possible due to existing reservations. The tables were a third full overall. We finally were allowed to move after much back and forth on how actual tables are reserved on their site which does not give you the option to select various tables. We were scolded by the tasting room "manager" on how to make notes next time when we reserve on their Tock site. Whatever. We were finally waited on with zero information on their wines, where they are sourced, nothing was given to us. She was an order taker only. We made the "pro" move and ordered glasses of wine as we knew a tasting flight would be a disaster. She wanted our food order right away but I asked her to start us with the wines. She finally returned for our food order....a baked brie which was very good. The wines were good too! Two small napkins and one knife....no utensils. She finally came back to take another glass order and we ordered two different red wines. Another server returned to our table....after enough time to crush the grapes....and said here is your Syrah! I ordered a red blend....my wife a Syrah. She didn't know which was which but we just figured it out. Nobody asked us if we would like to purchase any wines or perhaps join their club. We walked out with 6 bottles a couple of years ago. Disaster visit. Beautiful venue, good wine and food.....terrible customer service. You can do WAY better. That's my review of Stave & Stone. :)

This was the absolutely PERFFECT way to cap a day spent in the lavender fields next door. We were seated immediately, and from the back patio, we had a beautiful view of fields and a mountain in the distance. We ordered the cheese board, and it was beautiful, along with the flight of white wines. We also got the pulled pork sliders, which I can't recommend ENOUGH. They were fantastic!! Thoroughly enjoyed the wines as well. Our waitress was so kind and attentive and we had a great experience. Highly recommend.

We had the best time at the vineyard. Our server Caitlyn told us she was new. Could not tell she knew her wines she was very up to date on things. We had an absolute blast with her. We loved the food. Artichoke dips was recommended and Truly happy it was. The view was spectacular. We could have stayed there all day. Thanks Caitlyn for an amazing experience. Hope to see you soon.

Gorgeous setting, tastefully done. Grounds are beautiful! So fun trying diff wines. Hundreds of large lavender plants surround the gardens. Perfect view of both Mt Hood and Adams. You will not be disappointed!

Thank you to Cory and the entire team at Stave and Stone! Our group of 17 was so thankful for the time and care they put into our afternoon of wine tasting (p.s. be sure to make a reservation in advance if you are a group).
