It's been 7 years and to this day I still talk about the ice cream at this place as perhaps the best I've ever had.
Cute little antique store with lots of vinyls, ice cream and milkshakes as well!
Our family tries to visit The Old Trunk at least once each summer. Why? (1) delicious, real fruit soft serve ice cream, (2) their fun selection of reasonably priced antiques (3) if you buy an antique vase during the summer, they let you fill it for free with flowers from their huge garden.
The soda was weird and watered down. The antique store was nice but a pretty similar experience to other antique stores. No real attractions here. The staff was nice though!
Always a good time! Such a great variety of treasures!!
This place was a cute little store off the side of the highway lots of little older and part vintage items you can purchase and/or get a shake or float on a hot day. They have parking but its very limited. I'm driving a full sized crew cab dually long bed truck; I parked out best could on the side of road and walked over.
I finally stopped in after years of driving by—and I’m so glad I did! The shop was extremely busy on a Sunday afternoon, and I had to park on the highway, but once I stepped inside, I understood why.
This place is packed with amazing antiques—rows of treasures, vintage finds, and unique pieces. I wasn’t able to see everything, so I’ll definitely be back to explore more. It’s one of those stores where you could spend hours discovering something new.
The best part? They have an outdoor seating area and a lovely garden where you can relax and enjoy your sweet treats. I grabbed a Froot Loops cone made with local berries, and it was delicious. A perfect way to wind down after browsing.
If you’re into antiques, quirky finds, or just want a cool place to relax with a tasty treat, this spot is a must-visit!
Such a fun stop. Love browsing the antiques and having a fresh fruit soft serve cone! The flavor options were so good, especially the cherry and huckleberry.
Neat little antique and record store with delicious soft serve. They use an old machine to load in the ingredients and press the soft serve right in front of you. Such a great little gem and super friendly. Didn't buy any records but they were priced very fair and had a good variety of 60s-70s rock.
Great antique shop, clean well run, amazing selection. Every thing from uranium glass to Playboy magazines they even have a collection of Zane Grey.

Curio shop playing stereophonic 60s psychedelic rock as I walked in. serves some of the tastiest fruit blended soft serve I’ve ever sampled. I wish I could fit 12” vinyl in my bike bags because the record curation here was pretty incredibly. What a wonderful oddity!
Well curated little vintage store with decent pricing. I was surprised at the variety they had, and any place with ice cream and a soda fountain gets a little bonus. Well worth a stop when you're out in the fruit loop.
Speaking only of their fairly expansive vinyl selection, which I numbered at 500-1000 and which covered most genres: what a great store! I purchased at least a dozen discs and they all play fabulously. They are honest about whatever defects and claim to listen to every one before selling. I got several discs issued in the 70s and earlier and even those are virtually perfect. Prices start around 10 bucks and I didn’t see any rare gold—but just being a music lover is enough. Closes for winter so get there when it’s not winter!
They also have espresso and soft serve in multiple flavors plus they’re on the fruit loop in season, but I didn’t try any of that.
Love stopping here when in the Hood River area. Their fruit ice cream is so good! Owners are awesome.
Perfect vintage store! The owner has a great eye and has put together a wonderful eclectic collection vintage must haves. And when you are tired of shopping you can get yourself an ice cream cone.
