I loved Batch No. 1 the first time I tried it at a distilling event. Recently I tried Batch No. 2 at a tasting event here in Portland. Loved the use of old rum barrels to impart flavor and depth. Can't wait to see Wanderback's future batches!
As a newby in the world of craft whiskey, I may have hindered my journey by starting with Wanderback Batch 1. Batch 1 is awesome! I have never been a “on the rocks” type of drinker, but with Batch 1, I truly enjoy the aroma, taste and smoothness. Can’t wait to taste Batch 2. Keep on doin’ what you are doin’
