Drinks were great, but prepare to wait forever. Like actually forever. Two of us at the bar and were repeatedly skipped over and over. Waited a full hour before we eventually gave up and had to flag her down to get our card. Don’t go on any night that you only see one bartender working there.
My husband was the only POC in the bar. Not saying this had anything to do with it but by the end of being ignored while other people around us being served started to feel intentional
Came from Vancouver, WA to visit this place and do some line dancing, we seen on their Instagram page that they do it at times. The Margaritas were delicious and the bartenders/service were great. Only reason for the 4 star is because, the DJ was really rude when you go to request a song. He said he didn’t play any country songs and he wouldn’t take requests if it was country.
Went there for a bachelorette party. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was fun. Ran into 2 other bachelorette parties!! I was disappointed the DJ they had only knew how to play one genre of music. All 3 bachelorettes were country fans but the DJ didn’t know any country at all even for one song. Bummer.
First off, I’m a busy person so if I review it’s because I’m either very impressed or very unimpressed. This one is mainly the latter. I got to Hood River a little later in the evening after working later than expected. I was going to grab a pleasant dinner and head back to Portland as this was a pleasure outing but discovered that Hood River is one of those towns that rolls up the sidewalks at a certain hour. I live in a town like that so I get it. After walking into one establishment who’s kitchen had “just closed” I was given a good recommendation for Whiskey Tango and assured they were still serving food. I bit and soon found myself seated at the bar but waiting some little time to be acknowledged. I ordered a drink and my food all at once(afraid the kitchen here would also close.) Got the food in very reasonable time and it was delicious but I sat unacknowledged for at least another 10 minutes after the bartender dropped it off and turned on her heel without saying anything. She had failed to deliver my beer and never turned her head in my direction in returning to my end of the bar several times. I’m not saying she was lazy. She was working like a dog making fancy “mixology” cocktails one after the other. On the one hand I get that she was busy. On the other,as a dining patron of the establishment, along with a couple others receiving the same treatment, I was pretty irritated with the service to the degree I feel it worth mentioning. The food was amazing, especially the Korean bbq cauliflower. Just don’t expect to get any of the staff’s attention to get any of it unless you’re standing in the fancy cocktail line. Overall, if you’re looking for a neat place and have excess time to invest in getting what you need, this one is cool. But if you’re tired and need to get back on the road, grab some bag trash out on the highway and avoid the whole town.
Such a fantastic atmosphere to hang out, drink and have a meal. My boyfriend and I loved it. Great drink menu!!!
The food was good. It was amazing. But we waited a full hour for 6 people to get our food. Just one main dish each. We were polite. Just seemed like the bar tenders didn’t want to take our order and we’re very off putting. The cooks were sweet and at least apologized and made us an appetizer. Call in the order ahead to spare the long wait…. There was barely any people there too .
Good beer, good food!

Came from Portland for a relaxing weekend and did not disappoint. Whiskey Tango exceeded all expectations! The drinks were crafted with precision and care, truly next-level. Chef Chris’s prime rib with green beans and potatoes was a masterpiece—fine dining in a vibrant, music-filled bar setting. The atmosphere was electric with dancing, and the staff was exceptional—thoughtful, professional, and welcoming. Definitely will return and recommend to anyone that wants to be pampered and have a great time.

You can tell the chef really loves his craft. He makes dessert specials and the food looked like a lot of care was put into it. The service was not great at ALL l, it ended up causing us to leave earlier than we initially intended. We were dismissed when trying to ask for something, and it seemed the tenders just wanted to chat it up with each other rather than working and noticing when customers have needs. The atmosphere was good, just a little cramped in the front.

It's nice when it's not so busy with the wedding crowds. It is the place to be if you want to dance though. Margarito is the best most attentive bartender there. Burgers are really good. Nice mixed drinks there too
