Nice location with indoor and enclosed outdoor seating, occasionally live music in the outdoor space.We've been a couple of times and found the food and service to be above par and quite enjoyable. Oh, I love this place!! Gilgamesh in Independence is the best. The atmosphere, friendly staff, food and location is perfect. There stone over pizza, French fries and beer flights are a must. My favorite was the HoBo cake, beer with whip cream on top.

Recently moved to the area from Texas and have been exploring the local breweries. Gilgamesh has been by far the biggest disappointment. I’m sorry but the beer isn’t at the level that other Oregonian beers are renowned for. I tried 7 beers, maybe all 7 of them were from a bad batch, I don’t know. Just look at the hazy IPA, it’s not hazy and it taste like a light session IPA at best. The quality of the beer is poor, perhaps the worst craft beer I’ve ever had. I will try...read full review
