Love this place, the service and decor is excellent. They use cups from their china cabinet and have a frosted pink Christmas tree. Food was nicely made. The only disappointment is their offering of tea that is a very standard choice of Stash tea rather than offering higher quality brands such as Taylor of Harrogate or Republic of Tea, or similar.

Food was dry and tasteless
Excellent small town cafe. Family owned business with very friendly staff. We learned about the history of the family who owns and still operates it. Beautiful little historic home with a cozy vibe while eating. Highly recommend if passing through, or staying over near Salem. We had breakfast which was excellent!!

Cute/unique setting....it feels like a trip back in time having a family meal at grandmas house. Food was wonderful...good mix of traditional favs and unique takes. Everyone was impressed with their food....ages 11 to 79...so a wide range. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Certainly going back next time I'm in the area.

Came in out of the cold as we called and said they had Broccoli Chesdar soup and a tea.
Hot water and a teabag at Starbucks prices, and a soup that was tasting like rinsed out soup, very water based literally. I love a good soup but today this killed it. The home is nice but very small rooms and the noise from others just coming to gossip and catch up isn’t what one wants while relaxing and dining.

This was a very cute restaurant. My friend and I stopped in on our way to a wedding for some breakfast to go. Normally I would never spend $17 on a breakfast croissant, however it was delicious and perfectly filling. My friend had biscuits and gravy which she said was very good as well. Would love to come back to dine in as the restaurant was adorable and the staff were very nice

Charming, Victorian place just off the main street in historic Independence. I had the chorizo frittata which was delicious and came served with very unique, crispy potatoes and fresh pico de gallo. The biscuits are huge and yummy and my chai latte came in the largest cup I've ever been served. This quaint place is a relaxing and quiet spot and reasonably priced for what you get. A definite must on your historic downtown tour of Independence, OR.
