We really do love this place and the customer service is pretty nice as well but we went in yesterday 11/10/24 and ordered two Bento boxes and chicken Lo Mein. Immediately after I finished my food I knew something was wrong. Drove back home and after about 45 minutes I started throwing up violently and needed to be stuck in the bathroom. Unfortunately I got food poisoning and as I’m writing this review I am still stuck in the bathroom 11/11/24 at 9:10am. I giving higher stars for service and atmosphere because we really do like this place and every time we go in we’re treated well! Unfortunately I will definitely be asking for a refund on my food when they open.
Aside from me getting sick one time I would 100% recommend this place! We’ve been here a lot and never had issues up until now. The teriyaki chicken bento box is amazing and definitely my favorite!

We began with 2 fresh spring rolls and were very disappointed. The rolls were a chunk of iceberg lettuce with a couple shrimp stuffed in and a couple of noodles. They were serviced with some kind of soy sauce and when we asked for the peanut sauce that was listed on the menu they said they didn’t have any. Wouldn’t order again. This was followed by miso soup that was very bland. I’ve had better instant miso. My husband had the sushi B and he thought it was flavorful and a good deal for the price. I on the other hand had the sashimi entree and found it to be a disappointment. It was more expensive than the sushi my husband had with smaller pieces, no rice on the side and no eye appeal. On top of this, the service was poor. Our server was too busy texting on his phone to be available. Overall, I personally wouldn’t recommend this place and I don’t plan to return!! Sushi B = 3 stars, Sashimi Entree = 2 stars, spring Rolls = 2 stars, miso soup = 2 stars.

Very rude. I came in and let them know who I was waiting for, to which they responded very curtly. I was waiting and they had 2 tables. Noone waiting. The order I was waiting on should have been done awhile before. As I was waiting the incredibly rude front guy points at their waiting chair. "You sit there" he demanded. To clarify is asked "you want me to sit there?" Confused as to why I was being ordered around. "Yes. You sit there, out of the way." I paused and he got more animated "sit out of the way!". I said "wow! You can keep your order" and walked out. I was not in anyone's way. They had no customers for me to impede, I was not in his way. I'm not sure if it's because I am female and he felt he could order me around but for goodness sake, how are you to make a living in this small community when you treat people like that? If he's the owner I sincerely hope they shut down. If this is not the owner I hope the owner finds out and fires this guy.

Google doesn't allow for a reply. But he indeed did not "ask" me to sit down in the waiting area. There was absolutely Noone else around. He demanded I sit out of the way. It would have been great if he nicely asked me "can you sit in the waiting area please?" But he did not. Also there were no other orders present no other dinners except the 2 tables. There was no reason, I was not walking around I was standing in one place and moved further away from him when he went to the register.

So bummed out to spend 12$ and get food that tastes like plastic

Salmon was over cooked and hard
Rice was stuck together and not cooked right
Crab wontons were ok
Sushi was not the greatest and the soup was off a tad

I felt put out being in there and the waiter definitely did not want to be there so I waited out in my rig for the food to be ready

Did not even get a fortune cookie
Not going back

Incredibly rude staff with horrible communication. Went in to pick up an order and asked an employee about it and they didn’t say anything, just sharply pointed with an attitude to what passed as a counter or desk near the entrance. The order was sitting there.

Will try to avoid this place best I can.

If I could give this restaurant and its staff zero stars - I WOULD! Absolute worst customer service and negative environment I’ve ever been in when it comes to a restaurant. The staff ignore you, don’t smile at you, don’t even speak and can’t even say the words “hello” or “have a nice day”. It’s like they’re mute and don’t speak. They will sit down and eat while you stand in line for awhile waiting to order. I will never step foot in this restaurant ever again and I will let the locals in town know what type of people work here. I really really hope one of those men were not the owners. I don’t see this business staying open very long if they keep this up.

You literally have people coming in to order and pay you money to stay open. The people working there definitely don’t care about that though. How about you treat your paying customers with respect? They are the only reason why you stay open.

P.S - your food SUCKS!

Sayuri's sushi would be considered excellent in a major city. That a sushi bar of this quality should be in a small town in Eastern Oregon makes it even more noteworthy. In addition to serving absolutely fresh fish, the chef at Sayuri takes his rice as seriously as a sushi chef in Tokyo or Taipei. As a Lonely Planet author and self-professed food snob, I recommend Sayuri highly.

Clean your bathroom! Food was great but I wondered if the kitchen was as dirty as the men's room.

This was my first time here, and I loved it ! The atmosphere was cool and we got our sushi really fast. Also the summer rolls really hit the spot. I was always hesitant about going here since I've never heard anyone talk about it. But now I'm gonna be telling all my friends to try it!

So my first experience with this place my sister-in-law had ordered food from here and is deathly allergic to peanuts so of course she ordered no peanuts with her meal.. They ordered online and put peanuts in the allergy section. Picked up her order got home and there was peanuts on there. So she called and they made her order over again. So we drive to pick it up and we are greeted with “WHAT DO U WANT”? as he’s throwing his hands in the air so rude!! I couldn’t even believe it. She proceeds to tell him she’s here to get her food and he grabs it and starts questioning her and accusing her of not putting no peanuts when her receipt CLEARLY said no peanuts. He says “you should’ve been more specific” like how is no peanuts not specific??? He looks at her receipt for like 5 minutes Then when he gives her it back she said she never got her spicy mayo either so she said she needed that 2 and he just looks at us and goes “what???!” and again with the accusing her of lying and taking her receipt back and he says it doesn’t say mayo, when it did. He gets upset because she wasn’t lying and says “I need to go talk with the cooks”. He’s back there for like 5 minutes over freaking mayo and all of them are looking over at us glaring lol and when he finally comes back with 4 containers she had ordered, they were filled with the smallest amount of mayo. U could’ve put three of them into 1 container easily. I just could not believe how absolutely rude this guy was. Also like to add my sister couldn’t hurt a fly and has several anxiety so this was really stressful for her to go through and upsetting to watch. Just a terrible place. Would not recommend at all to anyone. Very rude environment!!!
