We came on a Thursday night for the chef’s tasting menu. The presentation was visually stunning, flavor pairings were innovative (cue the local seasonal Oregon ingredients) and the dishes were conceptually playful yet refined. Great natural wine and mocktails. Service was attentive.

Cowhorn Kitchen offers an experience that feels high-end in presentation and taste, yet the atmosphere stays playful, creative, and completely approachable. The restaurant takes pride in partnering with local wineries, farms, and husbandry operations to showcase the region’s local flavor and in season offerings. It is the kind of place where serious culinary talent meets genuine warmth without ever feeling pretentious.
The chef’s tasting menu features visually stunning presentation and innovative flavor pairings using local seasonal Oregon ingredients. Dishes are conceptually playful yet refined. A BBQ themed pop-up included amazing brisket, unique and delicious potato salad, and equally amazing baked beans. The duck is especially delicious, and the fantastic play on a lobster chowder is a winner. Every bite is novel, exciting, perfectly balanced, and incredibly delicious.
Service is attentive and flawless. Chef Evan doubles as chef and server, adding insights and conversation that make guests feel welcome. The staff is kind, helpful, and wonderful. Great natural wine and mocktails are available, and the server pairs wines expertly. Cowhorn Kitchen is a gift to the valley and should be the next dinner destination.
