So many ice cream options, big portions and a wonderful variety of old time candies.

Cute ice cream shop in the heart of Jacksonville! They had a lot of unusual flavors such as black walnut. I got the pumpkin spice in a dipped waffle cone and it was delicious! They also sell vintage candies and sodas. Fun and unique vibe!

Violets and Cream is an outstanding ice cream shoppe! They were out of their (dairy free) coconut ice cream, so I had their lemon sorbet. OMG! it was SOOOOO good! It was light, creamy, tart and flavorful. We'll go there every time we go to a concert at Britt Festival.

My husband and I came in for ice cream and purchased a large hoard of candy for our kids! Fun little shop with very good quality ice cream. A selection of retro candy and drinks. The clerks were very friendly at the counter. The store was clean and well organized. We ordered the red raspberry cheesecake & pistachio ice cream. Can’t wait to come back very soon!

Nice little ice cream shop with a nice selection of bottled soda and older style candy. I have had the floats, ice cream, and my dog loves their dog flavors!

Cute ice cream and candy shop in Jacksonville! I had a scoop of their Oregon Cookie (similar to cookies and cream) and Coconut Crunch! Both were delicious! My favorite was the coconut! I also bought taffy’s from there and they were also delicious! Friendly staff and great atmosphere!

We walked into the store and weren't greeted upon entering, which is whatever. Just a small "Welcome in" would have been nice considering there was no one else in the store. Anyway, we got there around 3:30PM, and the store hours say the close at 8:30; however, while we were looking around the store, we noticed that the girl working was taking all the ice cream from the counter to the back of the store. She didn't even ask if we wanted anything before putting everything away or even let us know that she was getting ready to close. Again, we assumed that we still had ample time considering the store hours said that they were open for another five hours. This is the second time we've been into this store, and both times have been a similar experience. I'm not sure if the employees are family to the owner or what, but they need to hire some better and friendlier help and actually stick to their hours or I can't imagine this place staying in business very long.

EDIT: After seeing the owner's response, I can certainly see where the employees get it from! And by the way, I did not have an attitude when I came into the store. I was there with my family having a pleasant day walking around Jacksonville, and we were looking forward to getting some ice cream. We were in there for about five minutes, and the employee didn't say a word to us. Why should it be the customer's responsibility to engage? That is poor customer service.
