Giving 4 stars as an average, experience has been 3-5 range for both food and service. For the $'s, needs better consistency. For instance, 10 minutes to get our first drink order, low score. Same night, halibut appetizer that was fantastic!
Well done. The food and drinks were really good, but the service is what stands out! Excellent location in downtown Jacksonville, located in a historic building right off the main thoroughfare. Trendy decor, basically a boutique restaurant. You get what you pay for, we paid a lot (about $75 each) but everything was above average. Very allergy-friendly in almost every course. First time trying this place and I was nervous at first when I got smaller portions - for the starters and the meals. Don’t be!! They’re just enough! I even took some leftovers home. I ordered the carbonara fettuccine salmon and we also got an extra starter snack and small dessert for free. The service was great, I tried moose for the first time, and never once had to call a server over for anything. Loved this restaurant!
