Wasn't sure what to expect given some reviews here. We ate in June - which may be important because the herbs, salads, and veg were all very fresh. That may be the difference. I had a bistro steak that was a perfect medium rare - but the star was the fresh herb seasoning. My spouse had duck and raved about the quality. Service was present, timely, but not in-your-face. The local by-the-glass wines were well selected. I'd go back...and that is probably the best review we can give.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. From start to finish, this place delivered an exceptional dining experience. Exceptional wine list with reasonable pricing, thank you for a wonderful evening.

I live in Jacksonville, I really appreciate food, chefs, service professionals… I was one in the past. I’ve eaten here a few times over the last three years… Food is good… But not great. I’ll eat it, but it’s not special or memorable, and I’m unsure if it’s worth the price. Staff and atmosphere is fine. Food is fine, nothing special. 4 stars.

I reserved a table ahead of time to celebrate my wife and I’s 7th anniversary. I noted she was a pescatarian and was hoping for some recommendations on options for her. They were very helpful and made our experience very special.

We had a large party and they were very accommodating! Food was delish and presentation was spot on!
Such an inviting dining experience. Been there twice. Both times, an exceptional experience. Food is delicious, staff is attentive without being overly such. Menu changes from time to time, while still remaining small. But they absolutely rock what they do. I would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice night out, but make sure to place a reservation to secure your spot!

My wife and I love this place. A nice and calm atmosphere. The servers are alert without being overbearing. The food is delicious and was brought out in a timely manner. Definitely a great place to go for special occasions and if you're willing to spend a decent amount for something that is more than worth its price.
We have been coming to Gogi’s on and off for 15 years. The food has always been great but Chef Gabe has ascended to new heights as of late. Among the best meals we have had anywhere. Words can’t do it justice. Just exquisite.
Gogi’s came highly recommended - maybe our expectations were too high.
I had rock fish on rice w/asparagus. My husband had pork loin stacked e:cabbage & apples on polenta.
My fish was good, but the rice was gummy and asparagus was old (yellow-green).
My husband’s favorite meat is pork loin. When he asked the waitress if he could get it med-rare. She told him the chef was a grill master and would fix it any way my husband wanted. Unfortunately, the medallions were brown and dried out. The polenta was dark pink/purple from the cabbage stacked above and had no lovely texture or flavor. My husband left 2/3 of his meal and politely told the waitress that the pork was dry.
We left feeling overcharged for very disappointing dinners.
Update:
Went for dinner 7/24- hair in soup and bolognese pasta tasted like a salt shaper lid was wide open. Inedible food this night. They didn’t seem to care. Place is so noisy you can hardly hear your partner in a conversation.
Old interview- Recently made a reservation for 6, we were interviewing a candidate. The service, drinks, dinner and desert were wonderful. Our candidate couldn't say enough good things as did the rest of the party.
Thank you.
