About Violets & Cream

Violets and Cream is a cute ice cream shop in the heart of Jacksonville. This fun and unique little shop has very good quality ice cream made by the actual people, with many good flavors. Unusual flavors include black walnut and the violet & cream, a unique flavor blended just right so as not to be overpowering. Customers enjoyed the pumpkin spice in a dipped waffle cone, the lemon sorbet (which was light, creamy, tart and flavorful), the Oregon Cookie, and the Coconut Crunch. The red raspberry cheesecake and pistachio ice cream were also ordered. The ice cream was the best ever had. The shop also sells vintage candies, retro candy, sodas, and taffy. The staff is super friendly, very talkative, extremely pleasant, and patient. The store is clean and well organized. With a great atmosphere, this is a nice little spot in historic downtown Jacksonville.
