Service was ok. I got a bad look from the waitress when I asked for more spicy mayo for my to go order. My miso soup was nothing but seaweed, the shrimp tempura batter was raw in the middle and covered the shrimp in blotchy patterns. I ordered a roll for my child and specifically told them it was for a child and they went ahead and added all the spicy mayo they had on hand. My Vegas roll was not rolled properly so everything just came out. Since when is a sushi roll 3” in diameter. This place sucks. Went back to grab my money back. This place sucks. Better places out there. But for someone that doesn’t want to leave Jacksonville for dinner it’s a perfect way to get screwed. Why doesn’t southern Medford have any decent eats. Just car washed and oil change spots.

They don't take reservations, so we had to wait, but it was worth it! Rolls were fresh, bento box was ample and the poke was possibly the best I've had outside of Hawaii. Servers were friendly and efficient. Those with mobility issues should be aware that entry into Umi Sushi is by 2 steep steps with no handrail.

We came in after a long flight and the staff was so wonderful. The sushi was amazing!!!! If you are even remotely close, try this place!!
Wow! Truthfully the best bento box I’ve ever had: San Francisco, Seattle and Portland included. A bit spendy but clearly an example of getting what you pay for. I may go back in 2 days with a client for another.

Not fancy, but believe it or not there’s a decent sushi restaurant in Jacksonville, OR. Hard to believe isn’t it?
Last time i was there I had a fancy spider roll and some Tuna roll. Both quite good.
I haven’t had their Nigiri, so jury is out for now on that. I’ll update this review if there’s more to add.
