“The food here is wonderful. My wife and I have been coming here for years and the steaks are always perfectly cooked. This is absolutely the best dinner restaurant around. The cocktail menu is also excellent. Reservations are almost mandatory because of they do not have a reservation from 730 onward, they will close as soon as the last seated table is done. Love this gem of a restaurant“

“Quiet, and kind. The individuals who served us were nice and homely. This was my first and sadly will be my last, untill I returned again to John day. This pizza was hands down one of the best pies I have ever had. I know its subjective, but if you are looking for the best crust, cheese to sauce ratio, and seasoning that complement flavorful toppings. Then go here.“

“Found this place online and thought to stop by while on our road trip through Oregon. Both the chicken fried steak and California Benedict were delicious. Eggs, perfect. Hash browns, perfect. Steak, perfect. Hollandaise, perfect and the best I’ve ever had. English Muffins, perfect. Literally everything was cooked/made to perfection. Great, home-y service.“
