I have to say that I am nostalgic about this place. I have been eating David's since I was a child. Long since moved out of town, but any time I visit I make it a point to stop and get my old order. I am happy that with each update they do the old style diner atmosphere is still intact. <3
Places like these are a dying breed in towns. I've had almost everything on the menu at least once and it's been great. My go-to though is the corned beef or reuben grilled sandwiches. My ONLY complaint is that the prices have gotten a little high over the years... we need the 7-9 dollar MAX burgers/grilled sandwiches with nothing on the side back. If you're in town and looking for a good burger joint than this is the place for you.
My experience at this establishment did not align with the considerable anticipation surrounding it. Despite multiple attempts to visit, the operating hours appeared inconsistent with the information provided online, as the location closed earlier than advertised. Upon finally gaining entry, I found the burgers and patties to be unremarkable. Overall, the dining experience was rather basic, especially considering its status as a local burger shop.
