I come from New York and this place was definitely worth the trip. A+ sushi very friendly people will definitely be coming back again before I return home.

People seem to come here to eat rolls, apparently 2-3 per person. I've never seen anything like it. We shared tempura and a roll, and I thought it was generous. I can't explain those other people's monstrous appetite.

Deliciousness takes time, but it’s worth it. This was our second time at this restaurant, and they seem to run on a small staff, so the food does take some time. We were there for about an hour in total, so not too long, but it’s not fast food. We enjoyed our food and the service was very courteous. We will be back!

It was quite, nice and clean inside.. food was fast and nice looking .. we thought the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our dinning experience there. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal.

Came from Colorado. Had a great time here after a long trip on the rogue. Very convinient walk from travel lodge, very nice. Our server, Tommy, was very nice, running the whole foh on his own with a hurt foot. Sushi was amazing, best chicken katsu I've ever had.

The food was subpar with smelly smoked salmon that tasted off. The teriyaki chicken came out dry with no sauce. The waiter seemed clueless and did not even respond when I said thank you when he refilled our water. He got upset when I asked for more teriyaki sauce and then told him later the sushi and teriyaki chicken were not edible even with the tiny amount of sauce they provided for the bone dry chicken. The owner then proceeded to come out and get right in my face and wanted to argue about his crappy food even though I have been in the restaurant business for 21 years and know what good food is. He refused to refund me for the meal I barely touched and gave me a 50% discount and wrote 2 hater on my check. This place is a joke and will not last long with the terrible service and serious attitude problem.

We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Our tempura was excellent and the tuna sushi was fresh and tender.

It’s my birthday dinner and I wanted sushi. Visiting from out of town, tried Hanayori over the other name brand place. There is a teen aged that sat us down I ordered ice tea with lemon to drink. I think that is simple enough. Nope no lemon came with drink. I ask for lemon the 2nd time and then my wife asked for the 3rd time. I did receive a thinly transparent slice of lemon in a dish. There is nothing I can do with this. Wtf? It’s lemon it is not expensive. And I asked 3 times. I bet they are going to spit in my food too. I got the food and 3 pieces of ginger and almost no wasabi. Absolutely 0 stars this place is not worth the money.

I lived in Portland for 7 and 1/2 years eating at different sushi restaurants and by far I would have to say this restaurant had some of the best udon soup I've tried
