Lake of the Woods Resort Reviews
Love lake of the woods ! Cabins are nice. Staff friendly. Very pretty place!! , but our visit this weekend , both mornings breakfast was over cooked!! Please hire a good cook!, eggs over easy not hard , biscuits were hard as a rock but gravy was ok, my wife and kids all complained “ when you spend over a 100$ to eat breakfast you want something decent”
The restaurant in the lodge is amazing. The food is always consistently great as well as their servers. I highly recommend it.

The Lake of the Woods Resort provides a picturesque and versatile outdoor experience. The on-site restaurant is praised for its amazing food, with visitors enjoying dishes like the Camp Fire burger, chicken sliders, and sweet potato fries. However, the restaurant is described as chronically understaffed, so visitors should plan on being patient due to occasional delays. The camping areas are clean, and the grounds are well-maintained, making it a beautiful and relaxing getaway. Many picnic tables are available, providing shaded spots under old growth trees, although parking can be a challenge, especially on busy summer weekends. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, including hiking, kayaking, swimming, and fishing, as well as shopping at the trading post and dining at the diner. Overall, the resort is a sweet spot that may become a yearly destination for those living nearby, with many guests already looking forward to their next visit.
