I was homeless and the lady working mornings she let me stay for a little bit and even gave me a breakfast bowl when it was getting busy and i had to leave. Bless people like her.

When traveling and only finding fast food restaurants, coming across a Denny's is a real treat. You can get a full meal including vegetables, a meat, salad, that just simply makes one feel good.

I wish Denny's had some plant-based options. I ended up just getting black coffee, which was actually really good. We went for breakfast in an attempt to score some oatmeal. They don't even have that!
La Grande Oregon location (next to the La Grande Inn). Our server was Macy. She was very nice about it all and she even comped our coffees. I handed her a cash tip before leaving anyway.
Gluten free yes, anything else no. Between lactose intolerance and healthy living, many other options exist. Shari's, IHOP and Elmer's are in the same boat though. I'm not trying to pick on Denny's, just leaving an honest review.
