We've lamented for years that La Grande needed great BBQ. Jimmy B's on Monroe Ave is the REAL DEAL! Most BBQ meat needs a good sauce for smoky flavor... Jimmy's meat is perfectly smoked, tender and delicious with the sauce he provides or without. Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken! Yummm!

Pulled pork was excellent, macaroni and cheese was good, I'll certainly be back. Little bit off the beaten path but absolutely worth it.

Make sure you get a look at the giant smoker in the back. WOW. Food was tasty and service was decent. Chicken and pulled pork were our favorites. The brisket was just slightly less impressive than the other meats. It needed something, though I have no idea what. We had an excellent experience and will be returning.
Parking: It's in a residential area with some kind of vehicle repair shop across the street. Parking isnt hard to find, it just might not be on the same side of the street. We would have passed it by entirely if there wasn't a tall flag out front.Definitely worth a lunch break stop!
The food is absolutely amazing. The chicken overall was my favorite meat, so smokey and delicious. My favorite sides were the macaroni and cheese and the BBQ beans. Our food came out hot, fresh, and fast. The portion size for the price is rather generous. I will be returning. *atmosphere:its a food truck

hot dogs were huge and tasty, baked beans were delicious, loved the fact that he puts his smoked brisket into them!! coleslaw was very creamy and fresh, I personally prefer a little more vinegar kick to mine but that's just personal preference. would highly reccomended!!

Jimmy is the best. Such a postive person and I love his food. His pulled pork is amazing. His brisket was perfect ?? Highly suggest.
Tried for the first time today. Was so excited to try it, and baked potatoes are a favorite, so today was the perfect day. The meat was good, and so was the mac and cheese, but unfortunately the potato was undercooked and hard :( It was a bummer especially with potatoes being the main focus of the meal. I will definitely be back to try again, as I understand these kinds of things happen and can be a one off
