This restaurant/bar has been around for decades. My dad took me here for my first biscuits and gravy back in the late seventies. It hasn't changed much since then. The food was good, really. Seems the waitress was either slow with water, or, we had to ask for a refill. Place was clean and the food was good.
Very nice and clean diner. Husband and I stopped in to have breakfast for dinner when spending the night in La Grande before continuing our roadtrip the following morning. Jake took really good care of us. The food was good, quickly prepared, and quite reasonably priced. The interior was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is also right there in the dining room, behind the counter. Which happens to be nice because one is able to watch their food being prepared. The only draw back...

Full bar, so Irish coffee, etc are available but not on the menu. If you’re into that sort of thing.
