We just enjoyed a wonderful Take Away Lunch that was simply delicious! Southwest Chipotle Roasted Chicken Salad and a Shrimp, Andouille Gumbo. Wow, the flavors were spot on and just what we would expect from Chef Merlyn! Thanks for your attention to detail and bringing this option to our community.

The very best of dining here in La Grande. There is no better chef on the west coast. We enjoy his “white hat” events, particularly the breakfasts. The pace is slow and there is plenty of time for conversations.

The majority of our guests where from out of town and they could not stop raving about how great the food and service was. We had multiple meetings before the event and he really went above and beyond anything we could have imagined.

Was looking forward to a good brunch review. Can only review the "service" when we got there. Mostly empty place, even by COVID standards, but was told they were full of we had no reservations. No comment on how to make reservations, no "sorry," just "we're full.". Then I find out they have dine out service and.oickup. That was not mentioned either. I rarely say this, but they just seemed to not care and were off-putting. It seemed a great place to stop on frequent travels East, but to be honest I don't care to try again.

Throughout the whole process, he was the epitome of professionalism. I cannot stress this enough, from day one meeting him, he went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we dreamed of. And if you ever have the chance to order his huckleberry creme brûlée, just do yourself the favor and order two.
