The morning barista here is excellent. She is friendly and very service oriented. The only problem is she has to work solo and Safeway is a busy market. That means if more than one or two people are in line, there is a longer wait than you were using drive-through. However, the drinks are well done.

Stopped by Starbucks while doing a quick 4th of July shopping and got the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. Andrea was so friendly and made my drink so well. I will definitely continue with my new favorite order and go back for the great service!

I seldom go to Starbucks but we were on the road so we stopped in LaGrande Or.…..waited for 15 minutes at the front counter while Employee waited on four or five cars through the drive-through ….. another employee finally came up and asked what I wanted….. when I didn’t order it in the way he wanted me to he stopped me and was agitated and said“you haven’t even told me what kind of coffee you want!” (I was describing the size and flavor and asking how many shots were in that size)..He got very upset because I didn’t do it in the “correct Starbucks order“… All he had to do was ask me those questions rather than being rude! This happened once before in another Starbucks ….they forget not everyone orders, coffee like a barista and should learn to be patient with their customers… The flavoring in the coffee was bitter as am I now… lol! I think I’m done with Starbucks .

So disappointed, this Starbucks charged me fees on top of our drinks. For a cold drink they added 1.00 on top of the price. The Starbucks down the road does not. I guess I will not be purchasing from this one anymore.
Can't go wrong with this chain coffee. I do like local coffee but this is fastest in town.

this starbucks isnt as clean and cozy as the one in island city… everytime i had something at this starbucks which is located inside safeway, the tables were never clean…always had crumbs on the tables and worst of all, flies were around 🤦♀️
