If you are looking for a unique experience this is it! Fantastic charcuterie board, fresh made soup, amazing chips and salsa, and very friendly service are the tip of the iceberg! The building is an experience all on its own…look to the far end of the bar for a binder that has the history of the place, it is fascinating and spooky all in one! We will visit this place every time we are in the area, it’s SO cool!
Not a lot of selection, but everything we were served was excellent and wasn't burgers and fries. Had a nice Cesar Salad and Meat Balls in a red sauce, topped off with Barley Brown's Pallet Jack IPA... Woundeous.
I want to like this place but I am struggling to recommend it again. I love the historic nature of the hotel and its quaint charm. The pools and patio have a stunning overlook of the lake, valley and surrounding mountains which is the main reason we stayed for two nights. The water works and the hot water output from the springs are impressive. The five pools range from body temp to 106*F.
