Awesome spot for breakfast. Food is really well executed. Barista skills are on point. Bloody Mary was incredible. Grabbed some Plum Vodka to go.

Order sandwich at counter and they will bring it out to you. Small selection of food but all our food was very tasty.

AMAZING sandwiches, excellent espresso and awesome staff

Vegetarian options: Several of the sandwiches are vegetarian or can be adjusted, and the vegetarian salads are hearty and filling

Grabbed a couple of fantastic beers to complement the great gnocchi from the affiliated Chubby Duck food truck. Fantastic server with scalp tats made us feel so welcome. Enjoyed a poignant chat about the late, great Ziggy Stardust. If you’re traveling between Bend and Crater Lake, be sure to make a point of stopping here in the town of La Pine.

Friendly and welcoming folks serving up great craft cocktails and draft beers. Nice patio with adjacent food and ice cream trucks. Enjoyed a Lavender Fizz made with their plum vodka.

So disappointed with my experience this evening. I’ve eaten here several times but tonight was the last time I’ll be a patron. My Cesar salad was not eatable. I had 1 bite and returned it, asking instead to have a sandwich. The salad tasted like rancid fish oil.
Instead of offering me good customer service, and comping me the sandwich in trade for the rancid salad, I was asked to pay for the sandwich.
The person behind the cash register actually blamed it on my tastebuds!
Bad business Badlands.
Then THIS sandwich was served. Nasty lettuce!

What an awesome gem in La Pine! I can’t believe it took me so long to discover the food options and super cute courtyard here. We’ve gone there many times to buy their Badlands Rye Whiskey, which is top notch and we love to give it as a gift to say, “here’s something from our home town.”This weekend my wife suggested we stop over there before heading up to East Lake, and we had a super delicious bagel and coffees from Badlands and also grabbed some of the best omelettes I’ve ever had at the Chubby Duck food truck at Badlands. Our kids ate them up quick, and that says A LOT.Such a great find in La Pine. Thank you for being here :)
