Very good foodElk burger is awesomeSuper quick and friendly
Parking: 12-15
Last night I paid 57.00 for 1 chicken basket 3cheese 4 full orders of fries 1 ranch 1 fry sauce we’ll get home and total disappointment the burgers where under cooked and I sure don’t like eating a core from lettuce. That was a total waste of my money and the fry sauce was no good it was sour
We went there and waited at the window for 15+ minutes with no service, then after we decoded to place a phone order we waited 10 minutes before heading inside. We then waited another 20 minutes after heading inside, so now 30 minutes, and once we got the to go food we opened it. The burgers where sloppily made and warm at best, and as well as that they where very much over cooked and dry. We got a large fry and at the bottom where a few cold tater tots so that part was confusing. The gal up front was lovely and made our shake before the food was done and made sure we where taken care of but sadly the overall experience was very poor.Edit: there was only 2 people. Me and my bf, so there wasn't a lot we ordered
We ordered takeout today and ate there for the first time. the help was friendly My daughter couldn't eat the burger though. The bun was stale, and the burger and toppings was just a mushy wet mess that you couldn't even hardly pick up. The shrimp was tiny little shrimp that were way overcooked, the fries tasted like very old grease. The chicken strips were pretty good. 2 of the 3 shakes were good. I think the huckleberry ice cream was getting old as there were so many balls of ice it tasted like melted huckleberry creamy water. I thought the positive feedback was worth giving it a try. We may have just caught them on an off day as everyone has those. But today was not the day for trying it for our first time because we ended up throwing most of the food away. I might be willing to give it another shot but I'd hate to spend $60 again to try again and have it be poor tasting food. I'm a little hesitant. But would love to change my review too.
Our family spent a lot of money in this restaurant over the last few years. This was our second visit in the last week alone. But tonight was disappointing. Double amount of waiting time than quoted, missed item in the order, cold fries and poor customer service when asked for hot fries instead. The request was denied by the cook and the cashier girl, stating that they are closing up (not even 7 o clock yet) and arguing that the fries was served hot. You think they would try harder after getting all the things wrong but you could tell that the crew do not care about their customers. Sadly we won't return.
The food was spectacular! My father and I were in town overnight and wanted good, simply and filling food. The burgers were fantastic, the toppings were super fresh and the milkshake thick and creamy. We will certainly be back when next in town.
Parking: Loads of parking and easy to maneuver in the parking lot.
Nice lunch. Just needs to step it up a bit in quality. Understanding that staffing for all restaurants right now is a huge challenge. Still a good lunch in La Pine, though.
I went to Coaches for dinner & I ended up having their Chicken Strip Basket... There were 2 great big pieces of White Chicken Breast that was cooked nice & crispy without being overly done.. The French Fries that came with the basket, were Fresh, Hand Sliced & Cooked to order... The Staff members are Extremely Nice & Helpful & the Strips Were recommended & I'm Happy that I ordered them... The Establishment itself was Neat, Clean & Tidy... Surprisingly enough, this place Also offers Craft Beers & Craft Cider, Canned Beers(I had a Coor's Lite)& Bottles of Ciders, on top of Fountain Sodas & Hand Made Milkshakes... The next time I go there, I will be having their Fish & Chips... ? ? ?
OMG! What an amazing little diner! Sooooo delicious and amazing and I mean amazing service! So glad we stopped in! Best place in Lapine for sure! I'm from Bend.
Stopped here after the 4th of July parade with my boyfriend for a burger, fries and malt. I haven't had a hand scooped malt in forever, and this one was really tasty! The fries and burger were way better than fast food. The woman at the front was apologetic about the wait, but no need--she let us know before we ordered. We weren't in a hurry, and I assume they're short-staffed like everywhere else in town.

Food isn't worth the price. Don't recommend eating there. Ordered an elk burger tasted like a beef burger. Soda was flat and had no taste ordered a cherry coke. Prices are not displayed so you don't know how much you are spending for your meal. Ate there on 7/1/22 at 12:30pm.
Great place to get some food. Very tasty classic favorites. The fish and chips is awesome along with the burgers. Additionally, the people here are the best, very friendly and kind.
Really good food, big portions at a good price. I recommend Coach's, the best burgers that I have found in La Pine!
Love coming to this hidden gem, we've been here twice and had the pastrami sandwich and coke and this time we had the hamburger, bacon cheese burger and onion rings, they were amazing! The staff is great and really sweet.
Tried it and will never go back. Placed our order at the drive through. After patiently waiting for 50 minutes, we went inside to see what was taking so long. They cooked our order twice and never brought it out to us. The gal at the counter never apologized. They forgot to put mushrooms on the mushroom Swiss burger and both burgers were burnt. Poor quality food and bad customer service.
