“This was the single best dining experience I've EVER had. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and there was a personal touch that I've never experienced. The lamb was probably the best dish I've ever had, and the cocktails were stunning as well. This might be the best restaurant in Oregon, the creativity of the flavors is OFF THE CHARTS. 10/10.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Such an amazing restaurant ? amazing food, service, fresh squeezed orange juice. This was my first time here. I met the owner. She has worked in the restaurant industry for years She running an amazing restaurant with all her knowledge. She treats her employees so well and has a great team serving amazing quality and service as well ? I can't wait to come back!!!!!“
“The origins of the name of this pub-like lunch and breakfast restaurant are not known to me. I have had Friday lunch here for nearly 6 years on a regular basis. Just before the Covid plague, the previous restaurant closed and my vice opened. It stayed open, unlike many of the nearby restaurants, during the plague, and eventually flourished. The chef — whom I have not met — is an unlikely burley fellow who is one of the most creative cooks I have had the pleasure of sampling his menu. The creativity is remarkable, especially considering the limited menu of a breakfast lunch type of restaurant. The names of his dishes alone are worth the visit. He also succeeds in keeping the costs down, which makes the decision to drop in a much easier one. It has a full bar with excellent, equally creative, cocktails, and very limited, but well-chosen wines. The service is remarkable, and the waitresses greet me by name when I come in. Totally unnecessary, but totally pleasurable. Every dish recommended below I have had at least twice and sometimes as many as five times. The average, huge, main dish is about $15-$17.Vegetarian options: I am not familiar with the vegetarian options, but there appear to be plenty available and look to be delicious.Parking: 9 Parking places just outside the restaurant as well as street parking nearby.Kid-friendliness: There are not a lot of children there, but it is a friendly, public atmosphere that welcomes kids. They all seem to have a good time. And the servers are more than welcoming to everyone.“
“This is the BEST biscuit and gravy spot in portland and that should mean something. The portions are very appetite friendly meaning, you’ll get plenty for your dollar. I go out of my way for the biscuits and gravy. The bacon is thick and the pancakes are big and fluffy.I’d order this again and I have quite a few time and have driven from Beaverton to this joint just for the biscuits and gravy.“
“It was super busy on a Sunday morning. It took quite a while to get my coffee. The inside is decorated nicely and they have some art and knickknacks for sale. I tried the goblin king and loved it. I wish they had larger sizes, I prefer a 24 oz if possible.“
“Came in for breakfast on a Tuesday afternoon. Not busy. Pretty good service. Friendly enough. Food was pretty good. Ordered the chorizo Benedict. I like salt a LOT but this was even a bit too salty for me. In and out quickly, no fuss no drama. Solid enough. Would probably come back but would definitely order something else. I wouldn’t come on the weekend based on the restaurant layout and food quality but a solid option for a random weekday.“
“A little cafe to have brunch. What's better? We got breakfast burritos that were dank AF. The service was excellent. The burritos were phenomenal. However, the salsa was not where it was at, at all. Idk if we got a bad batch, but it was no bueno. The place is cute with some art on the walls. Kind of a laid back vibe. I'd come back to try something else for sure!“
“The atmosphere is very light and fun. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The food is very tasty and well worth the price. The wait was well worth our experience at this restaurant. The restrooms are located in the hotel next door and you have to ask the front desk for the key. There is so street parking near by.Parking: There is some street parking“
“Fantastic tiny establishment with amazing atmosphere. When I went, it was really busy, but I was only getting started. The personnel was really kind and accommodating. I really liked this cafe; the bread had a great texture and the pastries were delicious. This is a location I would suggest.“
“Really cool place. It’s a bit small, but there’s like 14? Inside tables. Some outside seating as well. Garage doors for fresh air in the summer. The food is delicious and the drinks are just as good.9.5/10. Will definatly add this to the brunch rotation.“
“I keep coming back because it's sooooo good. Food and drinks are on point. It's such a cute spot. I do wish that anyone was allowed to sit at the couch/game areas when it's slower. I get that they're for bigger parties when it's packed, but I was there when it was pretty empty and they still made us sit at a table. Not as cozy and no games!“
“Fantastic waffle sandwiches and fries. I've never had anything quite like it before. My only gripe is that it can be difficult to figure out when they'll be open. They don't have hours posted online and I don't remember finding any poster on the truck either. More than once I've driven over only to find the place closed mid afternoon.“
“An excellent bread pudding, perfectly over easy eggs and crispy bacon. This is a gorgeous breakfast spot, perfect for lovers of wearing cute hats to brunch or reading a book over a cup of tea (y'all, they bring out a timer for steeping here).“
“The food is good and fast. Like you can actually go and be seated for brunch which can be hard to find on weekends. I think the inside could use an update like brighter colors maybe? It seems like decorated for night time in the 90s. Otherwise legit place to go. Also would be good if they get some brunch cocktails like coffee cocktails please.“
“My food was excellent, I had a Monte Cristo that was all the buttery nonsense it was supposed to be... Very delicious. It's mid-March, so they had some Irish-themed coffee drink I wanted to try that sounded good, but it didn't look or taste that inspiring.Service was extremely slow. My water was never refilled once even though I drank all of it as soon as i got it... I had empty drinks, and all my things boxed up for over 20 minutes before they came with a check. They have excellent desserts, but I just got them from the counter to-go as the servers seemed more interested in their conversation than they did with anything else.Cute place to take a date. Not somewhere I'd frequent.“
“Very cute place. Lovely service , very welcoming and dog friendly. Came in with my pug and they even made her some bacon and water just for her. I’m vegan and they had a good variety of vegan food . I had the vegan breakfast burrito and my cousin had the tuna sandwich. Very “
“Omg the West coast Benedict and blackberry spritz!! Best brunch day ever!! And don't forget dessert!! The black beauty is a delicious decadent, light fluffy dessert. If you like a little hint of coffee, then get the Versailles. The Easter treat (mousse cup) was also amazing- and my favorite!Parking: This is a popular spot, so except to drive around the lot to find a spot. Lots of different businesses there.“
