“My first visit tonight and the food was simply outstanding! Service too. Greek salad was fresh and tasty with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, olives, feta and simple dressing. “Seriously the kindest staff ever. The gentleman at the front was so friendly and warm to my sister and I. At the end of our meal, he even gave my nephews cookies. This was my first time at Sultan Cafe, but it definitely will not be my last. This simple cafe had the best service I’ve experienced at any restaurant in Portland, (and I go to expensive restaurants all the time) and all it took was a warm smile and a family feel from start to finish.“

“Karam catered our wedding and was a definite crowd-pleaser. We ordered lamb and chicken shawarma, chicken kebab, falafel, tabouleh, dolmas, and majadra, along with hummus and baba ghannouj. Everything was delicious, just as it is whenever we dine or get takeout from Karam. Our only regret is that we didn't order baklava, too!“

I ordered delivery and got a deluxe wrap with grilled chicken and the curly garlic fries and liked the food so much that I got a little obsessed and ordered again the very next night 🫣 Just really wanted to try the lamb after how good the chicken wrap was, and the lamb was even better! Extremely moist and tender while still having great char, and overall really flavorful. These guys obviously care about making good food and it shows. Thank you for a couple delicious meals! “Don’t miss this yummy cart in the back corner! If you like a lot of sauces, this is your place. I got the lamb plate and it came with hummus, tzaziki and two other sauces. They have gluten free pita too. It was a lot of food too. And there’s some tables to eat at.

“I come from the other end of the state once a year, I don’t have this option at home and really look forward to it. I love the food. I will say that this year will be the last time to your cart. The gentleman that took my order was a dick. I started by saying hello, only to be stared back at… ordered, to only be told my total… order ready, picked it up and said thank you, response was to have back turned to me as he walked away.. I’m not sure what I did to piss this p**** off, but I don’t like your food enough to deal with it anymore. “No soup for you!”“
