Oven and Shaker

Bartender and waitstaff were very accommodating when they came to our table, but it was difficult to get anyone's attention in passing, even though the dining area was at or under 50% occupied.

Pizza is always delicious! As are the salads and sides. One of our dining companions is gluten free and it was extremely disappointing that they had not prepared any gluten free dough for the day, leaving this diner with only a salad or side to eat. We were there for lunch at 12pm.

The GM and staff were really great and accommodating, especially for our very large party. The pizza was very good with lots of available topping options. The best thing on the menu though, hands down, is always the Nostrana Salad (10/10 every time).

We go and order the same thing every time, spicy salami, nostrana salad and pineapple trainwrecks. Love it all. From time to time the ginger syrup is made inconsistently, but 95% of time it's an amazing drink.

Great service, but the new pizza chefs are having a hard time. I got frustrated after receiving a burnt margarita pizza, the mozzarella was brown! (after a very very long wait). We asked for a remake and then recieved a pizza with an under done crust. I do admit that I was very rude and clapped once we finally received the second pizza. I apologized for my behavior.
We have loved the original pizza pies since this location opened and have been faithful customers. The manager comped our meal even though we insisted on paying. We really have loved this place. I hope things improve.

Came back this evening (3 weeks later)to try their pizza again and was actually refused service. (!) Was told that I was "supposed to have emailed this location after our last negative dining experience." (?) My husband and I were asked to leave, and so we did. We were NEVER told that I needed to email anyone after the "clapping incident". Not sure what is going on but this is sad.

The novelty of the restaurant is seeing the large oven baking the pizza.

Service is lackluster. Getting the server's attention is difficult. I was able to listen to a conversation between the staff which wasn't terribly interesting.

I ordered a lemonade which was oddly flavorless. Asked for lemon slices to squeeze into the drink but received a small shot glass of lemon juice instead.

My dining partner likes pizza. He ordered the pepperoni pizza. He enjoyed it. I did not. I found the crust to be overly thick. The char was fine.

This location does not have a dessert menu.

I am surprised they do not have a chocolate "dessert pizza" option on the menu.

We got home an hour after it was delivered. Impatiently, we tried the pizza cold as we warmed the oven up, and even on a very cold December night we were surprised how fantastic the pizza tasted. The pizza was even better warm (sorry cold pizza lovers). This location deserves a much higher rating than what it currently has.

We wanted to try this place since it was not too far from where we lived, and pizza is an essential food item. We tried three pizzas so that we would have leftovers. We had the mushroom, pepperoni, and spicy salami. All were good, but I really liked the spicy salami because it was sweet yet spicy. It was the right amount of spicy for me with just enough kick for flavor but not too much, leaving you sweaty. I also tried the bit o orange non alcoholic drink Eric was really good. The service was friendly and relatively fast. The crust of the pizza was also very good.

The lady told me the oder wasn’t ready. Then afther a wait she told me that the Oder was already picked up. Wouldn’t come back by choice. Let’s just say what this place is a RACIST establishment.

For a city like Portland where great pizza is everywhere this place is audacious in its pricing for what you get. Staff were rude and not helpful. Pizza was fine and incredibly expensive for what it is. Nice setting though

Had the italian sausage. One of the worst pizzas I have ever had. The potato gave the pizza a mealy/grainy texture, thought the dough was uncooked. So little cheese you could not taste it. very little sausage. The pizza was not crispy, very floppy.

I would recommend going elsewhere but there are no good pizza places near here.

Right out of the gate their beer CO2 went down, so we were unable to enjoy a draft on a hot day. We were disappointed and shared our disappointment. The server staff questioned as to why we were disappointed "just because the beer is out?" That demeanor was degrading and judgemental. We didn't appreciate that. We opted for an old fashion drink, which she did comp one of them. They were pretty weak. The service was poor. The hostess were friendly, but our wait staff seemed very irritated with us and was short with any response she had. We are not difficult customers. The pizza was amazing. We tried their special called "Elote" and we added pepperoni and sausage. One pizza is perfect to share for two people.

Love this place! The pizza was fantastic! Wood fire pizza is my fav and I’m so happy to have found this spot. We also tried the fried mozzarella, which was SO good as they use their fresh mozzarella. Loved the vibe and the outdoor space was nice and quiet. Went around 8 on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking. Can’t wait to go back! ?????
