Legit street tacos moved her from CA 3 years ago these tacos are hands down the best in town. Everything on the menu is good. If you ask for “hot” they have special salsa that will make you sweat. Have been back a few times very consistent.

I remember this building from my childhood, lots of good memories. The family that now owns the polar bear have kept many of the original menu items, pizza sticks, hamburgers, and French fries, but also added a fun twist with absolutely delicious Mexican food. I have to be honest, I have not tried any of the American food dishes yet. I just love the Mexican choices so much! Quesa Berria occasionally as a special on Saturdays, and Carne Asada plate also as an occasional Saturday special. You can't beat that for our small town dining choices! I give the Polar Bear my top recommendation!!

I absolutely love this place. We moved to the area in March and have tried seemingly every spot in Lakeview. Something about this place keeps me coming back. The Mexican food is delicious and the staff is very friendly.A great place to eat and a wonderful local business to support!

It’s run by a friendly family, very small inside kinda feels as though your intruding when you walk in. Food has came out quickly and was delicious both times I have came here. The only complaint really is the can of soda You get is pretty much warm. Bring your own beverage and this place is great.

They have such good food! Authentic Mexican food and American food. If your passing by here I recommend. Service was great!Edit: change of owners in 2021, but almost the same food!

I celebrated my nomination earlier this evening in this great restaurant. Well we enjoyed a magnificent evening and the place was no doubt the reason for this strong evening. The waiters collaborated in a sweet style, the meals were yummy and my friends were very overjoyed. We shall surely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

What a great little stop on our Southeastern Oregon tour! For all intensive purposes, this is one of the last bastions of civilization for miles upon miles upon miles. Typical little greasy spoon cafe with a great collection of burgers and Americana...WONDERFUL SHAKES! Definitely worth a stop on any road trip, even if you had options :D There are a few options in this town, make this one your priority!
