I usually stop here in the evening on my way to Seattle and get food and a beer. Food is always great and the ladies who run the place are always good for a laugh. Car jockeys beware there is no AM or FM radio between here and the 97.
Had 5 carne asada tacos that were as authentic as the ones I'd get anywhere on Mission St is San Francisco - except on corn tortilla instead of two - and a pineapple flavored soda. The meal hit the spot perfectly. Wonderfully nice people working there!!! I definitely would recommend to anyone.
They took what looks like a historic diner and have kept it alive by adding amazing home cooked mexican food. I had the empanadas and they were fantastic and filling. Great spot to stop and eat!
