About Biergarten on the Bay

Biergarten on the Bay is an outdoor venue only open during summer and warmer weather. It is directly attached to the Pelican brewing building. The food and service personnel are very good. The Bavarian theme is neat. The view is good and the fireplace is nice. The food is amazing, with unique and authentic options. The German potato salad is very much like an Austrian grandmother’s, and the cucumber salad is also very good. The pretzel is soft and delicious. The sausage on a roll, bratwurst sandwich, the trio, and pretzels are also popular. Some food is available TOGO only. However, there are some real flaws in execution. Only 2 beers were available and they were canned; the full tap list must be accessed by going inside. The new age background music lacks energy or ethnic flavor. The venue can be packed with families and small children, which ruins the peaceful water view due to screaming and loud noises. The food is a little spendy.
