Gilgamesh Brewing - The Coast

I've been here a few times and, unfortunately, it just seems to get worse each time. It's so sad. I used to love Gilgamesh beers and locations.

Food was not great. Some dishes were ok, rest not impressive. Crab mac and cheese, salmon and wedge salad decent. Surf and turf, burgers and Korean bites were not worth getting. Fried came cold. Waiter looked really stressed out and depressed and constantly talk down to themselves. Food took FOREVER to come (about 30+ minutes) and check was slow.coming as well. Food was expensive and not the nest quality.

But snacks from the convenience store, you will be happier with you food. This place is decorated like a Hometown Buffet…tables and chairs that you don’t want to sit in for long. The food…well the fries were good.
We thought the Smoked Salmon Chowder tasted like they used fake smoke. The menu offers BLACK Cod, Salmon, and Prawns and chips. Black cod felt like a very odd choice, as was salmon, and I eat salmon often. I chose the prawns. They were so greasy I could hardly eat them. The coleslaw was blah…at best. They offer a homemade ketchup with an odd flavor, I think they used that same ketchup in for the cocktail sauce. It tasted more like salsa than cocktail sauce.
I was so hungry when I arrived, but I wanted to warn people walking in. It was so bad.

Fish & chips, a no brainer right? The IPA was over priced like the food but the fries were twice cooked & greasy, the fish was falling apart & greasy. The coleslaw slaw was not fresh and the taste was awful. My recommendation... go to MO'S.

Cool place. Very open. Pub food ok/good. Service was decent. A littke slow getting to us, but after was very good/pleasant. Beer: Had the Barrel Aged Stout. It was on point! Great tasting smooth low bite. Flavors mentioned come through and became better tasting after a few sips. Worth checking out👍🏼👍🏼

Wonderful dinner. Best salmon I had in Lincoln city including the iconic place everyone says to go. Cheesecake may be the best I've had in a very long time. Highly recommend little gem

After reading the reviews and experiencing for myself, I can tell why they have polarizing reviews.

It is clear they are new, and they are trying to “figure it out”. I came on a good day because I was sat immediately, and the bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful.

The only reason this isn’t a five star review is as it got later in the evening and during a shift change (I guess), it took longer and longer to get service. I think they will figure this out however.

I did not have the food, but several parties around me said very nice things, and it looked really good as well.

The beer is phenomenal.

First time been here and i'm glad they have it at the outlet mall.We can shop and eat at the same time and watch football games.I must stop if you're going to go to the coast

Just had an adult beverage with the wife while shopping. Seems like a nice place. Lots of seating! We sat at the bar. Have had the food at the brewery in Salem and it always fantastic.

Cuban sandwich was super salty and so was fried pickles, maybe switch to a less salty pickle. The description of the meal said it came with a dipping sauce which it didn't . The server was very nice but extremely slow, there wasn't many people eating when we arrived but the place filled up during our time there. Took a long time time to get togo boxes and the check . Would do, to hire bussers, a few extra hands might have helped the wait staff. Also stood waiting to be seated for far too long as the place was almost empty when I arrived. Son and husband liked their food, the child's hamburger was huge and looked delicious. The low score was because of my meal being like a salt lick. The fries we very good.

We actually had to walk out. No one greeted us when we walked in and the waitress was more attentive to her friends or it seemed like it was her friends. We did not receive napkins or silverware. We ordered a pizza immediately and 25 minutes later we were still sitting there with no food she didn’t come back to take my main order. I had to walk up to the bar, the food runner or maybe another waitress. She was just like trying to get around me and looked super annoyed. The chef was ringing the bell on the hotline and staff did not acknowledge. I’m not sure what’s going on here, but the place was empty and it didn’t make any sense at all.

Had a great pint and bowl of salmon chowder after browsing one of my favorite bookstores.

Great pizza and cider. Service was very friendly and prompt. Great sandwiches too. Great place to eat and watch the game.
