We have been coming to Kyllos for decades. Tonight, we had a poor experience. The staff was distracted, and were loudly talking to each other, not paying attention to the tables. Our server seemed inexperienced and didn’t appear to care very much, which is odd when the bill for two without wine or cocktails was $160. Not sure what happened to this place. Been visiting once per year for a long time but this time the food has really suffered in quality. The clam chowder was awful! By far the worst I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of it. Such a shame! The service and atmosphere are still top quality but the food is what’s most important.

This is one of our favorite places to eat on the coast because of the combination of good food and good view. You can get a good view from almost anywhere in the restaurant. This visit the food wasn’t quite as good as we remembered however. Also, we had two little kids and wanted a high chair and booster and they asked if a booth was okay which it was, but we didn’t understand it was a high booth so the baby also had to use a booster seat and is really too little for it so...
